Meet at Autobhann Papakura 08:00 for an 08:30 departure the route should see us take in Ramarama, Mangatatauphri, Maranda, Ngatea, Paeroa, Waihi, Whangamata, Hikuwai, Kopu, Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga, Coroglen, Tirua, Hikuwai, Kopu, maranda, Kiauwa, Kawakawa Bay, Cleavdon. 2 hours and fifteen minutes????? The road guide suggests and hour and twenty from Auckland airport which is 20 minutes at least further still and that time is listed for a Granny in a Mini with a car load of sprogs needing toilet and lolly breaks.

Unless of course Sir Steve intends to do the Ramarama-Miranda loop a couple of times to warm up the donuts before hitting the East canal road??? :innocent: :mellow:

Looks like Sunday will be ok weatherwise at this stage. The last rotten front is passing over late Saturday and it's clearing at 1.00 am Sunday for a fine couple of days. :)

If it stays like that, we should be in for a nice day. I've still got the BT 020 tyres on the bike that came with it new and they are no fun in the wet at all.
Dry running, they seem not much different to the Z6's or Pilot Roads but it's a whole different story when things get damp :(
