wow this bike looks sweet I'd totally buy one if they imported it here. (For a grand)

Do they make 250 Tuono's?

That's all they make cause of learner restrictions in europe. I think it's 125cc

i wouldnt think so. They've discontinued the RS250, and it looks like that steals the engine from the RS125 which they just revamped. If you're interested get in touch with Mt Eden M/C they have the new RS125, im sure that the 125 Tuono won't be far behind or hard to get if you want one. I think they come in at about $10k though...

Yeah I'd totally buy a new Arai for $200,

or Elle McPherson for dinner & a movie,

or Fiji for a hundee. - Hmm, maybe that is too much.

well put. Seeing as the Hyosung gt250 is like $5500 and its just a korean twin, i reckon the aprilia will be similiarly priced like a new vtr250, if not more

Why did they discontinue the RS250?

I would have thought it would still be selling reasonably well, seeing as it was the only hardcore 250 stroker you can buy.

The RS250 was discontinued because two strokes will be fundamentally illegal in every market that makes money for motorcycle manufacturers by 2008.

Why did they discontinue the RS250?

firstly, suzuki stopped making/supplying Aprillia with the RGV250 engine that the RS250 used (althought modified by Aprillia of course), secondly as mentioned - they arent particularly environmentally friendly and due to strict emmission rulings in Europe they're becoming illegal except for on the track. You may still be able to purchase the 250GP bikes but you'd have to have a big ass wallet.

Stupid homo greenies having their way! Why attack something as minimially harmful as about 5000 two stroke bikes when you have big dickhead freakn americans (and I used a small a on purpose) driving around in hundreds of thousands of big dickhead utes.

The world is such a freakn unfair place. War anybody?
