My partners brother had that done to his car by some shits at his work he didnt get on with at all.

Asked them to clean it off they didn't. He picked up a screwdriver went up to their car asked them again, they laughed at him and he put the screwdriver through a tire sidewall. Moved to next tire and asked again, to which they went and cleaned his car.

Dunno about stopping at tyres, a key does a sh^tload of damage when in contact with metal, I reckon a close shave with a driver would put it to shame
