I rode out from town to TSS at lunchtime. It's even hotter in Petone than it is in town. Ferkin nice ride. Thank goodness for a mesh jacket. I should be posting this from a waterfront hostelry in Napier...

It's too hot for my normal jacket, what's this mesh stuff? Is it still protective? Does anyone make thin kevlar jackets which let the air through? Like Draggins for your top? I just got home and I'm sweating like a pig.
TOO HOT!

Dont look too long, you will get labeled a pervert and then the young girlies will scream and cry and complain about emotional harm caused by this sweaty old man with a pair of binos looking at them. :dodge:

When you finish school and save up enough money, maybe you can leave that little village and join us.
I always find it amusing when NZ's knock Auckland. Like it's a fast moving metropolis full of yuppies when in reality, it's just a sleepy town like all the others in NZ.
Every now and then, it pays to leave NZ for a little while.

I don't think everyone is quite like me, but given the population difference between Wellington and Auckland, there's a high chance there's a few more of us around the place.
I don't knock NZ, just the people in it. NZ is a beautiful country.
Know get back to work you till monkey.

I've got a Shift Airmesh. It's great -- lots of armour in the right places, and I crash-tested my previous one in Bulls on Boxing Day 2005. It got a bit chewed, but did everything a motorcycle jacket should do in terms of protecting the person contained therein. Sels1 has got a Triumph mesh jacket which looks the goods as well.

I should move back to welly to just make it permanently wet again :-P
