American builder Victory have come up with two new offerings for '08. They won't appeal to everyone of course, but you could argue that they are fairly stylish.

One of the southern KBers has a Victory - so different yet so traditional, nice bike.
And it seemed to go/handle ok too.

I know it had to happen eventually. Its only January 2007 and we are seeing 2008 bikes being announced. Lets get real here If its released in 2007 then it is a 2007 model. Otherwise it will get so ludicrous that we'll be seeing 2010 models released in 2008.

I would have to say I would rather lay my fingerprints on a Victory over a Harley, But that thing above looks hell uglyer than that Suzuki with the ugly nose fairing thing.

Sure its a personal thang. Somtimes less is more.
I would choose the Suzuk' in this case.

You're not worried about cornering fast?

Not even on my GSX-F...:bye: Well, okay, maybe I do like to touch the toes down at times, but as most of my mates ride cruisers, it's a bit of a pain to have to adjust to their pace and the Missus loved the comfort on the pillion of my mate's Boulevard C90T compared to my bike, so have been thinking along the lines of a cruiser lately. Would probably keep the 'F' for solo fun, though. How many cruisers do you see on the Coro loop?

Polaris announced sometime back that the Touring Cruiser (TC) was not being manufactured anymore. It was always a revamped model based on the older style V92. This "Vision" is the new 100ci model replacement, as a tourer and or a Sport.
See 360 degree turntable shots @ www.polarisindustries.com/en-us/Victory/Vision/spin/touring.htm and then look at the "sport".
It sure is different!

Yeah, I agree! The Kingpin is the "Vegas" with touring bits, and still looks great & traditional. Heavier guards than the "Vegas" and made for a passenger. I believe this is Victory's "Roadking" and the new "Vision" is Victory's "Electraglide". It takes some getting used to, doesn't it? Probably better in the flesh.
Try looking at the "8-Ball" and the "Hammer". Stunning.

Well there is a real American 100ci cruiser under there somewhere! Seriously tho, its long distance cruising with passenger in complete comfort. What have Polaris done? Just completely and radically remodelled their Touring Cruiser (TC) which was old school traditional.
I'd hate to drop the "Vision", OUCH, $$$$$$$$$$$ big time eh.
Check out the "8 Ball", "Vegas", "Hammer", "Kingpin", and "Jackpot" models! @ www.polarisindustries.com

I LOVE EM!

Surely with todays technology they could have a retractable crashbar which rockets out after a certain angle is reached..................to protect bodywork at 0 - 5 km/hr?

I do it any chance I get, on my Virago when I was on that and now on my Vmax. Slashwylde has been known to be out that way every now and then on his Vukcan 800 aswell.

As for that Victory in the first post....... Hell if I know what to think of it but Yamaha had something worse as a concept at the Tokyo motcycle show last year. And no I'm not talking about the New Vmax.
I'de go for the Hammer anyday.
