This looks like a pleasant cruiser-type motorcycle.

I like that. Apparently Guzzi have some sort of "adventure bike" coming soon as well.

Hmmm, the Guzzi equivalent of a HD Sportster. Give it twin dials, mufflers each side and get rid of the handle bar risers though. Oh and throw in a centre stand for good measure.

I've finally managed to make you see the Guzzi-light !!!!!!
It's life, Jim but not as you know it...

Funnily enough, I thought of Mrs H as soon as I saw it. If it goes round corners at least as well as its big brother the Cali, then Mrs H will be giving the hurry up to quite a few unsuspecting individuals.

Actually I've always like Guzzis.

It's just that I like giving the Guzzisti shit more than owning one.

Ha ha...anyway, yes I like this, but what is it with Guzzi "experimenting" with exhaust styling lately? (ie Griso).
This custom is nice but I agree Bonez in it needs more conventional mufflers.

Im confused Jim (and a bit drunk)...but don't you give everyone shit that doesn't subscribe to your ethos? ;)

...we love it of course.

Oh and throw in a centre stand for good measure.

Everybike should have one - makes lubing the chain so much easier.

Well the lack of centrestand on my V11 made pulling out the rear wheel a pain and a half, !!!

I guess you may expect the lack of a centrestand on a machine with sporting pretentions for cornering clearance etc but not on this 940 Custom, no excuses Guzzi !!

I'm not into cruisers at all, but that looks very attractive. Guzzi have been making some of the nicest paint jobs recently -- that matte tank and rear guard looks gorgeous! Fairly low fork rake as well, which makes it look much less stupid and probably improves handling no end as well. I suppose that's because it's a `custom'?

@nude, I quite like those silencers -- they look quite conventional, and are certainly a hell of a lot better looking than those awful `can' things that have proliferated everywhere. I agree, though, that they would look nicer with an exhaust on each side, rather than stacked; but the stacked silencers seems to be a cruiser characteristic.

I'm with Xerxes on the silencers. They look like the shotties on the HD XR1200 but on the other side of the bike.

Motu - you funny guy. Ha.

I have an ethos? I was aware of the pathos.......

That would be like saying you are calm and collective when someone pisses you off, ain't it.......

Back to the Guzzi, wonder what carbon cans would look like on it.

Ethos, Pathos and Artemis. Weren't they the three musketeers?

Looks mean

But why 940??
Guzzi are weird:banana:
They have the Breva, Griso and Norge motors and they go and put out another donk!

It's only a tiny little factory producing 9+ engine types:gob:

And having model runs of a couple of thousand or less. Guess that makes each one sort of exclusive, not the same having Honda CBR1000F number 12013 of 100,000 eh?:dodge:

Oh yeah,
What about the new Sport 8v, stick that in it.
The tank badge would look great on a 70's bike like it was factory fitted.

Hey....I'm off to the Harley dealer conference in July.....I bet they're gonna have the XR1200 there! They'd better have a 'live' one we can ride!

Guzzi owners are weird too, ya know ;)

I'm with you on that. Why not just have the 8V 1200 throughout the range in different states of tune, and also the 750/850 donk for the Breva/lesser Griso models.

Mind you, 940 is quite a catchy designation...sorta like "here's my 883" or "here's my new 1098"...all to do with marketing.
