Well, like I said in my last thread, 499 posts and the next one would be a biggie.
So here we go! Post 500
At lunch time today, I passed the FULL :wari:
Bye Bye '85' single 250, Hello '98' twin 500!
Rolled the baby out of the garage and took her for a 'legal' blast.
It was nice knowing that it wasn't just a 'charge the battery, quick once around the block' ride.:sweatdrop
No longer do I have to open the garage door each morning and leave her sitting  :bye: whilst taking the old 250.

It was great to come up the gorge tonight and not have to drop 2 gears.
I had a moron tailgating me on the way into work today. Quick twist of the right hand and he was dust. Don't you just love that feeling.:2thumbsup

You've shown great restraint not taking the 500 out more often.
Well done neighbour on passing the test. It was so much easier when I got my licence.
- Walk into Police station.
- I would like a motorbike licence please
- can you ride a bike
- yes I can
- Great I wont have to test you and fill in forms. Why didn't you say so at the start. They're in that box on the counter. Just fill in your name and stuff and tick what categories you think you might use. And leave $20 in the honesty box.
Sure thing officer.
Tell today's Kids that and they just wont believe you.

Thanks MD. It's just that I don't like walking...
Sod's law states that If I had taken it out, I would come across a random checkpoint that would leave me walking. And I don't do walking very well.
If I hadn't had other wheels then it may have been different, but I still managed to get out so life was not so bad. (It just could have been better for the last 3 months) :weep:
