... in nearly 6 months!

Thanks to the help of T.I.E. my bike is sporting a shiny (dull) new (old) throttle casing! Ignition and whatnot are now out of the hands of a $1.50 Dick Smith switch. Flushed out the tank of now foul smelling fuel (as opposed to fresh fuel, which smells lurvley) and gave the bike a good going over for anything else that could be wrong. Attached the handlebars, put all the odds and ends on and CRCed up the stiff throttle return system.

Fired up the bike today and... nothing. Remebered to turn the petrol switch to "on" and... vroom! There's life. Take the baby out for a quick spin around the block and she seems to be fine. Called up the garage, WoF for Monday. Beauty.

Good on ya and kudos to those who helped get it all together...ride safely out there and make up for lost time! :sunny:

Hey mate........ welcome back to riding.

Tis been a while....... take it easy......

Giz a buzz when you want to go for a wee blat out in the countryside.
Or maybe we could both ride up to see our ol' mate T.I.E for lunch.

Will do. Next week sounds like a winner, before I go back to Uni for good.
