View Full Version : Have you ever been so furious from car stupidity that you've actually hit the car?

I was just wondering..
Do I need anger management? Haha.
I went down to Papakura today to get some red rooster (yay for getting bottles with your combo, no need for cup holders!) and happily, on my way back I stop at a roundabout going up to alfriston.. I see this dude going into the round about not indicating - I assume he's just going straight and that I have the right-of-way, but I was cautious - and sure enough he swings around and I put on the brakes (not hard, I had ample room to breathe from the assumption that everyone on the road is ready to kill me).
Now this is my pet peeve, I just can't fathom how people can't indicate.. I really can't understand it. I shake my head and he sees me and gives me a dirty look, so I'm riding behind him for a few minutes (3 second rule, it had just been raining.. some puddles on the road).. he suddenly puts on his brakes and gives me the fingers. :gob:
At this minute I just lost it, I stopped easily because I wasn't close enough to be in trouble but the fact that he intentionally just tried to knock me off my bike sent me into a blind rage.. I accelerated to pass him - but not before punching his mirror as I fly by and take off into the sunset (so to speak.)
Yeah, a dickhead move on my part - but I just couldn't take it anymore, every freaking day this shit happens. How do you veteran riders deal with such idiocracy on the roads? Perhaps I just need to let things slide, but man, he really did push the right buttons consecutively
I bring this up because after thinking about it, I feel like a tool - even though he was in the wrong and did dangerous shit, he probably hates all bikers now because of my actions so I'm feeling kinda guilty and needed to confess my bad manners :(

Many many occasions i have felt like doing that.
only thing stopping me is, Hit car - lose balance, fall off, make fool of self - and other such consequences. but had never actually thought about the person taking out their frustration on the next biker.
the fact that he was prepared to slam on his breaks, knowing forwell he could cause you to fall off would suggest he already hates bikes, or he suffers from road rage.
on another note, good shit! did his mirror break??

Yep... 'accidentally' took off the brakes at the last minute on some stupid woman that pulled out in from of me (from a stop sign), and then stopped in front of me. Hopefully that big nasty dent in the drivers door will remind her to look a little harder.

Guy hit me while I was riding my push-bike recently.
He just went straight through the give way. I rolled onto his bonnet, got up and proceeded to punch the bonnet a couple of times.
Cop showed up and said that he was in the wrong for not giving way ($150 fine), but I was much more in the wrong for punching his bonnet (2 years jail). Which seemed a bit like rough justice to me. The guy that failed to give way just about killed me, and all I did was punch a piece of mild steel plate to make a bit of noise and wake him up a bit.
In the end he let us both off with a warning, but it's made me think twice about punching a car again.
Bloody glad he wasn't in an SUV. Cars are much more forgiving to cyclists.

The worst is that he is completely oblivious how dangerous his actions are with regard to other motorists (especially bikes). I was riding down SH1 the other day keeping to the limit and square in my lane. Next thing this woman in a volvo (of all things!?!?!) passes me in the lane to my left and comes into the lane i'm in literally a metre or two in front of me WITHOUT A FUCKN' BLINKER. Had she not seen me? It was broad daylight....but then as they say: "Ignorance is bliss"..

I was just wondering..
Do I need anger management? Haha. Well, lets have a wee look see ...
Now this is my pet peeve, I just can't fathom how people can't indicate.. I really can't understand it.Plenty of dicks like that out there, nothing too bad so far ...
.. he suddenly puts on his brakes and gives me the fingers. :gob:  ... the fact that he intentionally just tried to knock me off my bike ...Ahhh, now that different and just begs for retaliation.
... sent me into a blind rage.. I accelerated to pass him - but not before punching his mirror as I fly by ... Fair enough, but just watch the blind rage bit. Smack his mirror off by all means, but keep control of yourself. If you lose control, then you have the potential to do something really dumb, and cause yourself injury.
How do you veteran riders deal with such idiocracy on the roads?I've smacked mirrors off and kicked doors in the past, but I pretty much just let things slide these days. I just pass them and get another cage in between us so I'm safe and don't have to worry about the dick head.
... he probably hates all bikers now because of my actions so I'm feeling kinda guilty and needed to confess my bad manners :(Don't worry about it, he hardly sounds like he had a lot respect in the first place.

Well done! I had a similar case of road rage... some stuck up woman in a VW cut me off... woops.. you lost ya mirror there darlin... (not like half of em use them anyway...)
Yeah ya still a tool! And yes, gives a bad name to bikers etc... dont be afraid to give people the big finger if they misbehave though...

Done that to a taxi who stopped to double park on the bike park i was heading in to. Tiny mark on his door, then a large dent when he tried to open it (it took one massive effort to keep upright).
Also done some other silly things in the passed, I try now and remember
* I am not the only idiot on the road.
* Their attempts to kill me often pale in comparison to the stupid things i do.
* The more they go for me the sharper i will get.
* The sharper i get the more i will see and the less they can affect me.

Making that assumption makes everything alot more predictable.

The worst situation I've been in is on occasion when I was indicating to turn left, and car over took me on the left side. It was only pure luck that I saw a flash in my left mirror. Barely managed to straighten up and haul in on the brakes. He would have taken me clean out if I had turned. I hit rage factor ten on that occasion.

Zeocen, while I completely understand how you felt, if you get angry every time some dickwad in a car tries to kill you in Auckland then you are going to die from a coronary before they get a chance.
Also when you get angry your rational thought goes out the window, which is quite dangerous when riding a bike for hopefully obvious reasons. (Look up the term Amygdala Hijack.)

NOT a good practice to get into especially if you're not able to back up with some skills and as mentioned earlier for some stupid reason despite someone nearly killing us we're not allowed to do such things

Yep, done stupid things myself and have managed to realise that it isn't solving anything. Like in all things, the retaliator always ends up wearing the penalty worse! In our case, we are on two wheels and it doesn't take much for a cage to bat us off if they "decide" to go for it
It's good to hear you came to no harm, but spare a thought to the other scenarios when it all goes pear-shaped and nasty  We all know how you feel, just need to take that chill pill when you can and allow karma and other intangibles to sort out those types
Keep riding safely and try and leave the fun stuff for PS2/3/Xbox/PC gaming huh? :msn-wink:

A smack on the car's roof - open hand or fist, you decide - makes a VERY loud noise inside and might help wake up the mofo.

but what did you do??
I have kicked a car door as hard as I could when I had steel caps on, made a nice dent in the rear door. I was a pedestrian and the car ran a red. I also tried to break a driver door window, pedestrian again, crossing road saw car coming, turning right into the road i was crossing, stopped on my side of the raod (not the side he would be driving on) so he purposefully swerved onto the wrong side of the road and jammed on his breaks. i didn't move and he stopped infront of me then proceeded to sit on his horn while laughing. So i took a step back walked up to his window and preceeded to punch it and kick ing his door he moved foward and i proceeded on. He then got out of his car (he was quite a bit bigger than me) so i ran towards him yelling abuse and he promptly jumped back in his car and sped off before i could kick the shit out of him, I was so fired up.

Treat all car & SUV drivers as either stupid or blind, keep you eys peeled & ride defensively (this does not mean slow). There's no substitute for just getting experience on the bike. (God I sound like an old bugger) !
I've given up on trying to educate tin tops. there's two many of them and the simple proccess of starting the car seems to halt all brain activity. :zzzz:

ive had some lunatics pull some stupid stunts, but ive never physically reacted. never had the chance. be just my luck id kill the fuckers.
have started zig-zagging in risky areas [bad intersections, the series of 4 high traffic petrol station/fast food driveways right on top of a light controlled dangerous intersection etc] which has stopped a few from pulling out.
did see something funny in my mirror down our main street. car in front of me parked up [double parked] to let someone out. driver goes to get out, van behind me pulls up alongside and forces the door closed again. lmfao. from half a block away, and through the helmet, i heard the yelling.
i hate vehicles that do that. vic ave is bad enough with reversing cars that dont look, without having cars and vans double parked. the worst is the couriers and money moving vans, when they park directly opposite each other. slows things down huge. couriers should be made to park around the back.

7th March 2007, 20:40
Hmm... Have I ever been tempted to react physically to a car's inappropriate behaviour? To do so is immature and reduces you to their level of stupidity.
But I have a few tips to point out if you do wish to stoop:
1. Wing mirrors usually pivot forwards and backwards on a horizontal plane without damage.
2. Wing mirrors do not usually pivot vertically. Therefore a certain amount of downward pressure will result in permanent damage.
3. Windows are fucking hard to break.
4. Doors are very strong, and not that easy to put a significant dent in on the modern car. Front guards between wheel and headlight assembly are not as strong and deform easily.
5. Toe sliders. They're not just for cornering.
6. Traffic lights/road obstructions ahead. Before engaging in 2-5, think about where you're next going to be stopped.

I have an anger problem so I do something stupid in revenge against a cage driver maybe once every few weeks. I'm working on relaxing (starting an anger management course tomorrow actually) but it really feels good to scratch someone's door with toe sliders, or dent a boot lid with a fist.
I know it's bad for me and increasing the amount of unhappiness in the world, but hell...
It will be interesting to see how things change in the next eight weeks of the anger course.

Yeah, had a new Hyundai roll up to a cross road to the one I was on. I was doing about 40 w/ the light on and she looks both ways slows to near stop then rolls out infront of me! Held on the horn and she kept on at the same speed, I easy rolled around behind the bumper on the oncoming lane (no-one coming) but then she backed up, pulled up next to me and beeped, pulling the finger! I flicked the stand down and gave the plastic bumper a good boot. She took off, black visor and full suit might have staunched her out, I was suprised, she was old and in a lavender knitted cardy that matched her car. The kick was noisy but didn't do anything which also suprised me but was probably for the best. I have also twice pulled in between 4x4's and small bikes (an fx thingy and a little new vespa) on the motorway cos they were at the most a meter away. A real good stare right at them might make them wonder if I'm a bit tuff under the gear (definatly not!) and they both backed way off. The guys on the scooters must have really been shitting themselves, being 1/10th of a second from potential flattening but I am real aware that I'm no better off than they are if the worst happens. I see people being bullied on the roads and need to intervene.

...........starting an anger management course tomorrow actually)..........
I'd consider it myself! I've come close to physical action many times but managed my rage (barely). Not sure how long I can go on though.
Furthermore, as a pedestrian around Wellington's CBD during my lunch hour I also feel tempted to jump up and body slam the bonnet of those cars that try and roll slowly through the crossing just behind your heels. There are few believable arguments when a cage hits a pedestrian on a crossing.

Here's a classic a freind of mine in Australia, McKay to be exact works as a miner. This guy is one big Mutha he rides a harley and a Ducati and he's a really patient and courteous guy on the road.
During a visit a few years back we went for a ride up country we had a number of incidents you know one of those days when every fuckwits out and about!! Anyway we approach an intersection we have the green light I'm behind him. This guy runs the red light clips my mate knocking him off then gets out of the car and starts screaming, yes screaming at my cobber who gets up rips off his helmet and king hits this tosser right in the chops knocking him out!! Then he proceeds to smash every window door panel light and mirror off this guys car with his helmet!! Now that's road rage!!
Cops were'nt too impressed!!!!!!! No sense of humor!
After a frustrating ride through traffic a couple of weeks ago (splitting) came to a merging lane where the cager was intentionally force merging, booted the door which freaked them out and legged it.
Instantly suffered remorse, I was in the wrong, splitting aggressively and was wound up due to compounding minor "offences" by other road users.
I later received a letter from the police as someone had reported it.
If you choose to do these things I recommend that you are sure that it really is the intended victim that is wrong and remember that there is always someone crazier (P users, natural born) than you out there and their response may be more than you bargained for.
It can be hard to keep your cool, I fail constantly, but try.

Umm...kicked a couple of idiots cars in my yoof in Edinburgh & Falkirk. Banged many windows (unfortunately a copper stopped me one for it as I hadn't spotted him....he was keen to let me go when I took my helmet off and basically exploded and swore like a trooper at the "@$cking nutter who'd nearly killed me" etc.) and flicked a couple of mirrors.
Nastiest one was this myoptic old couple on a two lane road in Edinburgh. Roadworks ahead, all the cars in the left lane so I'm tootling along in the other lane on the motorcycle ready to merge in at the last moment. Old couple decide they can't be arsed waiting so just pull out infront of me without warning. I swerve into far right of right hand lane and blat horn. Old couple look towards me and start mouthing at me and shaking their heads. I shout back at them, etc etc. This continues at running pace for about 25m. Old couple then start moving right and trying to PUSH ME ONTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I completely lose rag, haul on anchors, drop a couple of gears and fire the bike up their left hand side. Right hand out and ding their mirror as I'm passing. Unfortunately I was so angry I didn't just clip it but punched it right off. The mirror went flying. Back on the gas and made merry my escape. Quite a new car and one of them electric adjustable/heated mirrors so I'm guessing it cost them a few hundred pounds. @$ck me my hand hurt in the office that day. Took a different route into work for a couple of weeks too.
Must have been @$ckin hilarious for the other cars sat in the traffic and there's no way they could have called the cops after at least 10 other cars had watched them deliberately trying to push me into the oncoming traffic.

The thing is....what happens when
car doors are kicked in, mirrors broken off and lights are smashed etc.....then thats the end of that, rider rides off and feels revenged.....then
one day a long comes Mr,Miss,Mrs innocent motorcycle rider (say...any of us from KB) and the car driver is still nursing a grudge from "that incident" decides to terrorise the innocent rider and cause them to crash??
After all, a bike rider is just an object to them - not a person. We all look the same 150cc to 1300cc on two wheels wearing a helmet. It was an "object" that kicked their door in last time..... so now its payback to the same object.
You will never know.......but it is a very real possiblility this could happen.
Maybe if anything we need to keep this in mind at a moment of rage - and just leave it?? just a thought

i dont think it is full road rage if you have just saved yourself from being taken out, i like to think of it as Constructive Justice Rage if there is such a thing.
When my uncle was about 23, (about 100kgs and 6'5") he was filtering down the motorway and some guy opened his driver side door to stop him getting past, my uncle stuck out his boot and wrapped the door clean around the front of the car.
Bet the fucker never did that again!

Have you ever been so furious from car stupidity that you've actually hit the car? Yup.
I was coming up to a left-hand turn at a an intersection. There was this car sitting to the right, like it was going to turn right, and just tootling along. I went to turn left, and the car veered across to turn to the left, cutting me off. Then the driver was driving like, all erratically, like.
Just after that, the traffic came to a stop. There was no room to go around the outside (to the right) due to roadworks, so I went up the inside, and punched his mirror so it folded back the wrong way, as I went past.
I doubt that he knew what it was for, despite me tootling him vigorously earlier when he was being a tard. I did it solely because I was still angry that he was such a fuckwit.
Of course, being a responsible and upstanding citizen, I immediately felt bad, mainly because he might have taken my number and retaliated.
By the way - I didn't see Placidfemme's WhiteVWTardLady this morning when I went down Onewa Road in the car. I was telling my wife about her, and she (surprisingly) thought WVWTL was an eejit, and deserved retaliatory action.

I agree with Katwyn on this one. The next 'innocent rider' may cop the tintop drivers anger. Think of all car drivers as morons, they think they are invincible inside the safety of their cage. Sometimes they just don't see us, or they choose to ignore us. :oi-grr:
I ride with the attitude that I 'own' the piece of road around me. :stoogie: I ride with assertion & confidence & don't 'fluff around' indecisively. I take a line & stick to it. I visibly 'eyeball' drivers at intersections, also being prepared to move over or slow down if necessary. My 'attitude' has worked for me for the past 15 years, without coming to greif.
If all else fails, 'try' & get their rego plate & place a complaint with the Police & let them deal with the ignorant tosser!! :Punk:

Today at 6.15am on the way to work, a truck was tailgating me along Aotea Quay, then as I indicated to turn left he passed me and very nearly clipped my mirror. FUCKER!
I was faced with two choices:
1) Breathe deeply and continue on to work.
2) Pursue the dick, boot his truck, get in trouble maybe, get hurt maybe.
Well of course I didn't hesitate for more than a second, pulled back out, got him at the next lights, BAM BAM BAM on his door with my fist, "YOU FUCKER, YOU CALL YOURSELF A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER, WATCH THE FUCK OUT!"
Then I did a U-turn and rode off to work.
Yes, I have an anger problem.
But all morning I felt great, amped! All my customers smiled at my energy, and a couple asked why I was so zippy today, and I told them what I've just told you.
Anger management and stress course starts tonight...

Anger management and stress course starts tonight...
Here is what I do, I approach the vehicle driver at the earliest opportunity and ask them if they know they nearly knocked me off a little while ago, if they apologise I accept and advise them to pay more attention.
If they act like a wanker then I will do whatever I feel like, lights and tail-lights are expensive units.
The only exception to this is if I know the driver has definitely seen me and is acting like a dangerous wanker deliberately, then he is a threat to my health and I will either report him, or beat him senseless if I can catch him.
I don't have an anger problem, deserving dangerous wankers who try to kill me, may think otherwise!

Katwyn/MyGSFX, I'm with you girls. Imagine if a car driver does the same to us, when you make a mistake (yes a mistake, not everybody is a serial idiot), rip your mirror or open the door, how would you feel.
I wonder how many KB-ers, after reading this thread, think it's justified to "have a go" the next time they're on the road.

Haven't had the misfortune of something like that happening to me so far. However I did give a car a bloody good wollop when it didn't stop for me on a pedestrian crossing when I was already halfway across.

I brought a matt black Craft RX6 with a black visor. I have less trouble now with discourteous drives. I recommend the Darth Vader look, appears to make the cagers think twice about messing with you.

Car drivers do it to us every day have'nt you been seeing the amount of threads for near misses and accidents they dont give a fuck why should we!
If we go out on the road with a softie attitude we'll get taken out we must be aggressive and let these people know it's not okay to uturn in front of us it's not okay to run us off the road because they were too lazy to look and were not going to be bullied on the road!!!!
Cue the national anthem and hands over your hearts!!!

How much are those helmets?
The thing I want to know about doing damage to a car when angry at their actions, eg kicking door/mirror/window is won't they grab your rego call the cops and you get done for dangerous driving (max pen jail time min 6 months disqual) ?

Yes, but it is not the genuine "oops, mistake" happenings that are the issue.
That will happen, and, speaking for myself, if someone makes a mistake and admits it, then it doesn't make me angry.
What DOES make me angry are the deliberate "You are only a motorcycle, so I am going to do xxxx and I don't really give a stuff if I kill you" people. And there's a LOT of them around.
Or the ones who, deliberately or otherwise, do some idiotic illegal shit that risks my safety, and then either , think it's a huge joke and just giggle about it (Asians are REALLY bad at that); or get aggro and aggressive.
Or the grossly careless, don't give a stuff who they kill people. Steaming round a blind bend on the wrong side of the road is NOT a mistake.
*Those* people make me angry, and any punishment they get is well deserved.
I have gotten timid and gentle in old age though. I no longer carry my kickarse huge safety chain slung over my shoulders. Oddly, back when I did, I didn't use to get as angry. 'Twas almost clinical - "Oh, right, y' didn't see me. And I should go get fucked. Yeah well, that happens. Like now , f'instance, here I am getting out my chain to secure my bike - and oh look, it's smashed your headlamp. Sorry, didn't see it, mate. Bye "

If all else fails, 'try' & get their rego plate & place a complaint with the Police & let them deal with the ignorant tosser!!
Unfortunately, reality is that a complaint to the police will seldom achieve much, and if the complainant is a motorcyclist, will definately not achieve anything. The police will never action a complaint from a biker. Never have, never will.
I do use the *555 or webform sometimes, especially with old doddery drivers , whose real problem is that they are just past it. I figure that if dodderer gets a few finger wagging letters, maybe Mrs Dodderer will step in and suggest that maybe he should let her drive (of course, she may be as bad or worse).
One point, if you *do* decide to bother with *555 or the webpage, do NOT put in your own rego number, cos if you do the cops will know you were on a bike, and the complaint will go straight into the waste paper basket.

Ixion, I understand where your coming from, my partner is much like that, but it worries me that one day he or any of you will meet the wrong guy and regret the aggressive action taken.
Now, if you don't mind, I'll just stick to some egg slinging..

Man that sounds harsh, reckon the driver got away on the light side here.

I've done the web thing twice with the bike rego and got a confirmation letter each time. I thought about faking the reg, but wouldn't be surprised if they cross check this with the supplied name and address and discard it if it doesn't match.
I used the bike reg after some old tart in a merc cut me off without looking when i was in the car. I don't know what the letter looks like to the offender, but I'm hoping it mentions bike and they think "bike? what bike" and get a bit of a shock.....

Hate to burst ya bubble of self assertion there Ixion.. but that is not true. I have made a complaint to the Police, about a car driver in regards to their dangerous driving, whilst I was riding my bike, & it was dealt with. The driver was visited & given a stern warning. I just went in & stated the facts & gave accurate details.. I did not go in with an angry or aggressive attitude.. (which could have instantly put me on the back foot if I had, & the outcome may have been different!!)
I guess it's all in the way in which we conduct ourselves.. as to the outcome.

I've gotta dissassemble my computer for a move in a minute so please excuse me if I've butted in half way through a line of conversation...
I've also had a few incidents. I've been provoked without retaliation too many times to mention but one incident of solid sidekicking a van cost me close to $2000 in lawyers fees and compensation in the early nineties. From a turning lane to my left he unnecessarily drove within millimeters of my leg while I was waiting in the middle of the road to cross two lanes. He had plenty of distance to stop but he was just being a prick. Of course it pissed me off no end and after HAVING TO blast across the road (with his van blocking view of traffic!!) I spun around and kicked the sh*t out of his van. Unfortunately, I had an easily memorable numberplate - DUH!
Another one was a "Once We Were Worriers" '72 Falcon that pulled right on me as I was passing him (not slowly, not quickly). He only got a finger but for him that was more than enough provokation to try and runme down - I KID YOU NOT - FULL ON with smoking up tyres and the whole works. Unfortunately I was still trying to get to the same wholesaler so I looped around the area a bit too much and ended up meeting him at an intersection where deciding not to go past him because I thought he'd ram me I stomped on the picks, dumped the front and slid past him instead. The cop said he was on his way to an anger management course! Of course! Takes all sorts... BRING ON THE HEAD MOUNTED LASERS!!
I've tried to restrain myself a bit since then. I've also been a bit more careful about ensuring the straight front end setup on my bike now to!

Well I got to my anger and stress management meeting, and the DAMN building was EMPTY and there was NOBODY there, and I am VERY ANGRY.
But i did not pursue any cars this evening, and I satisfied my urge to destroy by watching World's Wildest Police Videos, which is on every Thursday, Prime, 7.30pm.

How do you veteran riders deal with such idiocracy on the roads?
Simple, don't ride like an idiot, move with the flow of traffic, watch the road around you, predict what other motorists are going to do and make sure you're not in their path when they do it.
The ones you couldn't possibly have predicted are the ones who are gonna get you bad, that's what really scares me when I stop to think about it.
I've had a few motorists do silly things near me on the roads and a few who tried to antagonise me because I was being cautious moving out of a T-intersection, but you learn not to let it rile you. Tey're fucktards, and getting angry just spoils your day and can distract you enough that you really end up having an accident.

Agreed. Whats with all the money spent for example by the ACC on their latest ad run, when its a compulsory thing anyway...
Wouldn't that money be better spent doing something like a bike awareness campaign... would reduce ACC payouts too...
:(
Must be a Papakura thing as someone did that to me at a roundabout recently but being the clever awake, aware rider that I am I stopped in plenty of time. I thought about it for a bit thinking to myself "let it go just let it go" but then I thought "they will never learn unless taught" so I chased the car and punched the mirror so hopefully they will be more aware next time
Five year olds in pedal cars need to learn like everyone else.

~I feel so pretty.. so pretty~
had a beauty the other day - 3 of us where shootin down kakariki rd from marton through to feilding, rounded a bend, im in the lead and i saw this f*ck-knuckle about 150m ahead in a civic (with his entire family in the car, i might add), pulling out from the right side of the road heading the same direction as us....now, he must have seen us, all had lights on and two of the bikes are twin headlight models, bright sunny day, no excuses.....i anticipated him cos i've been riding a while and i'm generally ready for MiC's (morons in cages):weird: , so i swung into the wrong lane and bowled up next to him braking hard....flipped up the visor and (his window was down) proceeded to unload with a machine gun fire of ass-ripping expletives.....but me two mates were shooting up behind me so i had to drift past him and let the other 2 go.....then...and this was the best fun i've had in ages :third: .....i stayed in the wrong lane (decent straight ahead of me so no worries) and waved the guy in the car back up next to me!! and when he got next to me i unloaded with another deluge of abuse that my grandfather (a coal mining scot from musselburgh) would have been proud of :done:
the most annoying thing was, I'm sure he looked staright at us and thought ":whocares: i've already started moving and they'll slow down in time" - he had two young girls in the back and wife as well in a fekkin 1300cc PoS cage.....just f*cked me off immensely....:angry2: just out and out laziness....

A few weeks ago we were shooting through Riverhead at about 10am, round a tight 35km corner, on with the gas into the straight and over the rise. There in the middle of the road about 100 meters away was a car load of mountain bikers reversing, I s’pose they had missed their turn off.
I hit the stoppers hard and in my fury at their ignorance and total disregard for the safety of others I was prompted to waggle my index finger in their direction as I cruised carefully past. In hindsight I should have lowered my eyebrows as well. That would've shown them. :Punk:
hehe....should've put ur head down and gone straight thru....ten cyclist bowling!! STRIKE!!!! :done:

My 2 cents: we meet twats, plonkers, imbeciles, oxygen theives etc in all area's of our lives, so why should the road be any different? The sooner we accept that fact the sooner we can move on.
You wanna get physical with another road user or his/her vehicle? Be prepared to recieve the same treatment.
