Hello All
I have decided to write a book about Bruce's life and antics. I have asked his family for their blessing which they have given me so now that I have LooseBruce's parents blessing and this weekend i'm going to start work on this there are 3 main reasons for writing this book
1. For Hunter(his son) to have and read and see what a great man his daddy was/is
2. For all that would like to relive the great times and see behind the man
3. As my tribute to LB
I can just hear LB as i write this up saying (yeah i'm cool, they writing a book about me)
Anyone that has stories photos about him pm me and i'll msg back e-mail address
Take care all and safe riding and look forward to hearing from you
My Aim is to have the book completed by dec 2

haven't really looked that far forward on publishing at this stage i'm just working out the format for the book and in the collection phase of getting stories from KBers and Friends and family
my goal is when making copies is to cover my costs and what ever profits made will go into a trust fund for Hunter(his son)
I'm excited about doing this for Bruce and i'll keep you up to date on progress
The family put a post on the tribute thread about the cross unveiling for Bruce and Daryl on easter weekend at the crash site. It would be great to see all there

Top effort, but I think you'll need some help from Hitcher.

Awesome.
I barely knew the guy - but 2 anecdotal stories for you
Here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=33707)
And - the first time I met his was (sadly) on the way to forming up for the funeral of another KBer. I was unsure of where I was, stopping to look for street names. Bruce came roaring up, stopping - "You from KB? Looking for directions?"
"Yup"
"No sweat - follow me"
Finding my way was no longer an issue - keeping up was.
God's Speed to Bruce though. I know there were pegs down for him and Daryl for a long time after they passed away. They got to ride with more KBers that week...

Count me in for an order of the finished product. I never had the privilege of meeting the man himself, but stories abound about him. Have read a few of his posts on KB and thought he sounded like a top bloke just from them... so I'd very much enjoy reading a book all about him and his exploits. Good on you mate.

When my mother died about 10 years ago we, the family, put together a book of stories she told us while she was ill. It was only a smallish booklet form but was way cool in the end. Cover photo was taken by me even!
We sold these for $5 a book and donated the money to a breast cancer cause. Surprisingly we had to do a re run.
To me as her son this is something tangible that I can have and pass down to my kids. Not to mention just flick through now and then.
Great idea and good on you for taking this on....
