....The visual integrity of the seat isn't the most important thing anyway. ...

I totally agree. We will always know the significance of it regardless of any vandalism.

Don't sink into the tar swamp! You'll have to keep moving to avoid it.

Just got back from having my dessert with my hubby on Bruce's seat, I have to say I'm impressed with the job the council did. Now, how to keep the birdys from pooing on it.
Saturday weather looks good so far, so should be good to get together down there, and we'll have a special visitor so please make sure you all make her feel welcome, as only us KBers can eh!

Arh, you're all too kind, pat yourselves on the back for being so generous with your money to make this happen and offering to help also.

It didn't take too much persuasion, she seems tickled pink that we've done this. Debbie said to me that the biking world was Bruce's thing, but whether she likes it or not, she's part of the family now.

Wish I could be there tomorrow...but we're simply so busy at work there's just no way that can happen.

Maybe I'll get to see as many as poss when I get LB's sorted.

Will head on over on Tuesday when I get my new tyre put on.

Hope all goes well, looks like it's going to be a fanTAZtic day weather wise as I go to bed!!!!!

We had a good turnout for the remembrance ride today and here's just a couple of pics of the seat - which is looking great thanks to all those that contributed to it happening.

Its a bit shadowy trying to get a photo of the plaque in the morning, I probably need to go back one afternoon and get a shot with the sun on it.

I hope Bruce is having a good Christmas looking down on all this.
