Good old Suzuki GSX400E- a faithful old scoundrel, and been around the South Island a couple of times. A twin cylinder 4-stroke model with alloy wheels, twin disc brakes front, and drum brakes rear. Have lovingly repainted it black, as well as new sprockets and O-ring chain, new front and rear wheel bearings, new extended throttle and clutch cables, new rear suspension, new ignition coils, spark plugs, considerable renovation of the electric system, new battery, work done on the clutch, new rear brake shoes, front brakes bled, and put a new alternator in it. Most of this was done by mechanics in Wellington and Nelson, I only do the little jobs and keep it clean! Engine sounds nice and low through twin chrome megaphone exhausts, it has a recently upholstered seat with a large passenger rest, big pack rack, new wide and high chrome bars, as well as a chrome crash bar (a bit rusty) attached to the frame. The bike comes with its original handlebars and mirrors, as well as clip-on exhaust baffles (I choose not to use these) and a Haynes GSX400E Technical Manual.

Being a 400 it goes well easy on the gas, and I take it pretty light on the throttle as well. Has been known to do the ton, but I prefer cruising at a leisurely pace.
This bike is not in new condition, but I look after it and its always treated me well in return. Has been kept religiously covered up and inside when possible. Just had the camchain adjusted at Baz Bikes in Motueka and they reckoned its a good solid runner and has a lot of life left in it. Give me a call if you have any questions and want to view/test ride- licensed riders only please! You won't be disappointed with this ride as it is a genuine sale as I am (sadly) selling it to pay for Uni.

Please do check the date on a post before making a total noob of yourself OK.
I somehow think it's probably been sold, sometime in the last 5! years.
Hamilton Honda have a couple of very nice 750's of older age sitting in their showroom you might want to go have a look at them.
1's a Spewsuki and the other is a Nonda Magna, I'd buy this like a shot if I didn't already own the legendary Coal Burner.
