I have a small stash of mobo's floating in the garage at home.

I will have a look when I get home, if you find something in the meantime, nifty - if not and I have one, you can have it, the missus will be stoked to have one more bit of junk gone.

Socket 423 was the 1st generation P4, they only existed for a relatively short time before they brought out the socket 478. They are unfortunatley completele incompatible.

Got any 512mb sticks? I have a PC that only has 1gb of rambus (4x256) and could really use more :-)

I've got a brand new Albatron PX865PEC Pro board - was bought in error.
FSB1000+Mhz, Dual DDR400+, AGP8x (no O/b video - that was the error), LAN, serial ATA + IDE, 8x USB2, 6 channel audio. It's been powered on once.

Offers?

well i pulled the machine apart tonight before temptation gave in and we all went for a blat

cpu is a celeron 2.4, ram is 1 stick of 512 dr pc2700 (so i guess its 333 mhz) and another 512 of 400mhz (current mainboard doesnt suppport this - yes ive already tried taking it out...)

and stupidly I realised the case and board are micro atx :( sigh.....

whats the brand/model of that board you've got coyboys? aj is going through your way in the weekend

made me use google....... This is the board http://www.cwc-group.com/dedi24mopn41.html

I remember now. It was my brother in laws and he wanted a pc to play games on so I said I would build him one but he no listen and went and brought a dell and then got all upset that it didnt play nice with games he wanted to play so easiest fix was new mainboard and AGP card. That is why I have the board with no CPU or RAM. More than welcome to pick it up anytime you or aj is passing through. If I am not here I will leave it out for you. Will pm my address.
