just quickly asking how much it would cost to get new keys cut to a lock? I need keys for a new ignition set, my fuel tank, and the underseat storage.... i think the tank and storage will be the same, but the ignition is off a different bike.

for how many keys? 2? I want to get keys cut for a new pannier - 2 keys, although not standard size. No worries about security or anything, it's only a saddle bag so I obviously didnt steal it or nuffink
And TS, did he lose his keys or something?

i bought my ZXR off a guy who had conveniently sold the ignition set with the keys to a mate, leaving me with a locked fuel tank and no way to get the seats off if i leave the plastics on.... I have bought a second hand ignition without a key, and it would obviously be stupid to drive off without being able to top up the tank

A bit of friendly advice. Give someone the money to go and find out if the bike is stolen. I don't like the sound of this one bit.

Remove the seat lock and take it and the igntion lock to a locksmith, they will recode the ign to the seat lock and make a key or two to fit - then you just gotta hope the gas cap is the same as the seat lock.About $50 a recode, look at $100.
