Just attended the Roadsafe Advanced Refresher course on Saturday and it was a blast! Thoroughly recommend it!!
We started off at 9am with a classroom session in the morning covering the theory bits of braking, road positioning, counter steering, hazard detection, road lines vs race lines, 2-finger vs 4-finger braking (and waving) etc.
Then had lunch and proceeded to a carpark in Petone where we rode around left-handed (tricky for the rg150 that was there!), then weaved around cones practicing counter-steering, e-braking etc. Then went out for a ride past Wainui, out to the coast, putting all that into practice... Man, that's a nice ride!!
Finished the day bang on 5pm at the Rimutaka Forest park office. It was absolutely tops! Thanks heaps Andrew and Lynne!
