seen this on youtube and clamed 350hp, i have seen one on trade me with 250hp wich is complety beliveable and realistic. now even with a full rebuil and forged pistons conrods ect i still dont think the engine can support or handle 350 ponnies at the wheel

what do you guys think.

ps if so how long would this guy (or gal) live for. lol

Well even going back quite a few years touring car motors (2 litre Sierra Cosworth for example) could push out 300bhp per litre.

350bhp from a 1 litre motor is plausable but reliability might be an issue.

That and stocking clean undies for each time you got to full throttle

Yeah ... now do the dyno run again when it ain't 1.5 degrees above freezing outside. How'd the engine cope when it's 30 degrees in the shade, bearing in mind there's not really enough room for a large intercooler on a bike; even a water/ice to air model.

Of course it's believeable, there are dyno shootouts in the US with bikes well over 350hp.

The question is...why?

The only place you can use that sort of hp is on a dyno(provided you can get traction).

Having 350 or 400 or 500 hp is purely for "wank value", nothing more.

give me a couple years..... there might be the plans for a 600hp bike on the back burner...

I wouldn't mind being a wanker with 350HP + on any bike (provided it still cornered and stopped okay)

Well not "nothing" more... they do do a bit of drag racing over in the States. As much as teh long swingarm look doesn't do it for me, it is pretty impressive seeing a gaggle of hopped up GSXRs and ZX10Rs drag racing.

Have to agree, the times they are getting out of bikes in the states that have no wheelie bars and run conventional rear tyres are nothing short of amazing.

Well, as conventional as a 300 section rear tyre is

True, but a flat car slick it ain't.
