As some of you may be aware the trusty Triumph is off the road getting the sexiest set of running gear installed :Punk:

Maha man was told to expect it to take a week to get back on the road. He duely dropped it off on Monday (after booking it in two weeks ago, so it took minimum time) expecting to get it back Friday. The garage is still empty!!! Leave you to imagine the pain he is in...........

I have cooked the roast from hell, there is pudding to follow (when it is cooked) and getting in first here, the night is young and we are child free!
What more can I do to cheer the bloke up? Thinking a drive out someplace to talk shit with others may help.......anyone interested in lunch tomorrow?.....Puhoi? Mangawhai? heaven help us Warkworth? look forward to some support....Mom

Sincerest condolences...I'd be keen for a spin up that way tomorrow to come and meet you lot....would a bunch of bikes showing up help though???? Put in the same place I think i'd want to hide from anything resembling a bike till my own steed was ready...poor poor bloke...what about putting him under general anaesthetic until it comes back??

Hmm, well I have got other suggestions, but perhaps it's best if I keep those to myself.

I know it may seem a tad weird, but its a deal is a deal. I first asked about the work to be done two weeks before easter, as i wanted to take it away over that weekend. The bike shop said will make some calls and if i could get it in on the Monday before easter then they should have the suspension back by at least thursday. Easter week rolled around and they called to say that the ohlins suspension/shock could be done the week of the 16th. Im ok with that, i drop it off Monday morning knowing that i would have it back by this weekend....um wrong!...went up this morning and he said '' maybe early next week''....maybe?? not good enough from where i stand. Guess i will taking to AKL for any further work in the future....

Saw the poor Trumpet in the shop! Doesn't look half so pretty with it all stripped naked!

I didn't tell him I knew anything about the bike, but keep on Phil's case though and he'll get it done. May not be his fault if there was some hold-up with the supplier or whoever was doing the forks, maybe.
