Hi All, last sunday, at around 6pm, my friend and I, were riding our scooters along mission bay road towards city, and a guy in a BLACK 2002 - Holden SS Ute - license plate BHR487 - (verified, as I got his details via post office), and he tailed us almost trying to push his bumper up the back of myself and my friend, then I pulled into the next lane, he pulled up wound down his window, and then he pulled right in front of me and slowed right down trying to make us stop, then my mate went to go forward and he pulled into the lane trying to knock my friend into the kerb. What can I do about this Guy except just reporting him to the police?

the guy is tall, tanned european guy with brown curly hair, sorta looks like doug howlett, in his early 30's or late 20's

this guy is a total psycho full on asshole and me an my mate think he MUST be on P!, what can I do about him biker community?

You've got the plate, a description, and a witness.

Ring the Cops. Anything else you do may involve the Cops visiting you instead.

Stab him.. not a Dover stabbing as such but a stab in teh eye should recover any losses you and your friend may have incurred.:done:

alternatively you could sell ya skoot and buy a push bike, you'll soon learn how to stay on ya bike along mission bay then. Mother fuckers...

There was two of you. And only one of him. Doesn't that suggest the solution?

Had the same thing happen to me when a bunch of teen kidz tried running me off the road in Auckland's CBD. First tried running me off the road, then swerved at me then threatend me at the lights waving there baseball bats. Complete tossers, who the hell goes out on a Friday night trying to pick fights with people on motorbikes ... IDIOTS.

Its rather easy to handle really .... wait till they are stopped at a set of lights, Drop the boot into the side of the door (leave the biggest dent possible) and nail it off up the road. When I did it I was on a 250 and the guy caught up ... so a quick reverse U-Turn and drive away laughing up the footpath .. and you'll be sweet.

Summary, you wear boots for a reason. The cops won't do anything, if you report him he'll get a little paper slip saying he has been naughty and he has been reported and no further action will happen, I know this from expierence also.

Two complainants versus one defence for the same offence. That's no longer "your word against his", but is instead all that's needed to prosecute. Both of you, go to the cop shop.

Could be argued it is dangerous driving and he is in line to lose licence for a minimum 6 months... Report in person to the Police and advise you want him prosecuted. Have your mate go in as well so a statement can be taken from him too.

Or.... you have his details and where he lives.... go and torch his car. I would, he tried to run you off the road!

What he said.

If he was genuinely trying to kill you ( not saying that he was) then he has forfeit his right to live, end of story. We have the law there to protect us, but the law being there wont bring you back to life once he goes to jail because he's run you guys off the road and hit you.

That's true. This fucker needs to be dealt with before he loses it.

You need to NOT DROP YOUR BALLS and actually go ahead and each of you place a statement at the cop shop. Most people loose motivation to do this.. but when this starts happening RE LIVE the experience and how you felt at the time. Then rock on up and make statements.

I dunno, when guys tend to treat me that way on the road, it is generally them that get the dose of road rage...helps that If I gas it, they generally cant keep up:rockon:

You have his address via rego details, I would personally pay him a visit, however a more sane person might just report him to the cops...experience says they wont do anything though....too busy with other crims.

Do it. Go to the cops. My mum was a witness recently in a thing against this moron doing insane passing recently. If they hadn't gone to the cops he wouldn't have got a nice fat conviction with a $600 fine and 6 months disqualification.
You have two witnesses, and all the details you need. You never know, someone else may have seen it too and reported it as well.

The police were really pleased, he was an utter wanker in court.

Just did my FIRST ride on the road today :) Really must stop reading these threads until the shaking completely stops...
