Hi New here, so forgive me if this has been done before - can't find anything searching on this. I am thinking of getting a Ducati Supersport in the near future (900SS, or 1000SS if I can stretch to it), but have read and heard bad things about Casbolts - enough to put me off wanting to use them. Can anyone recommend someone in Christchurch (except for Casbolts) for servicing Ducati's, or if not, is it worth considering home servicing? I've some history of bike and car servicing, and would really prefer to do it myself, but I wouldn't consider myself anything but a novice. Is it even sensible to be considering home servicing on a Ducati with limited experience? Will I need a small fortune's worth of special tools, and years of experience to know how to use them?

Thanks.

+1 for Duane. You won't go wrong dealing with him for servicing, repairs etc. I've sent a few his way and everyone raves about him.
