Can anyone make me a logo?

Hey guys,
I know that there are some very talented graphic type people here so I have a favour to ask. We have just created a College Radio station and we need a logo for when we send letters out to businesses, so I was wondering if anyone here would take a stab at it for me as I am uncreative to say the least. It pretty much has to include the word "KCFM 107.3". Unfortunately we can't pay you because we're poor, but if anyone wants to give it a shot in their spare time it would be much appreciated.

it's gonna be abit of everything. whatever people want to listen to. probably be predominantly rock as most of the listeners will be youths then rap second i guess.

Like The Rock, Hauraki, or like the station I used to listen to back in the states 97.1 KGLE The Eagle.

Saying KCFM in conversation is a bit much so needs a sort of nick name.

Your station man, I'll try to think of some but you know more of what it's gonnabe like and what sort ofimpact you want it to have on the people there.

What about 'Kapiti Rock' for the name, the logo a stylized line drawing of Kapiti Island to encapsulate the "KCFM/107.3" blab, underscored with the words 'Kapiti Rock'.

Give it the kiss principle, works every time.

That looks pretty f'in cool, but whaddya reckon about the Kapiti Island outline in there somewhere? It'll give it that unique 'local' flavour.
