Good question, been looking for him myself, I was told his name was Tim and he was working for Southside (or South City) Choppers or something in the Pukekohe area, I got the mobile 021 032 8451 but left messages, no response. If you find him I'd like to talk to him re project bikes.

Nup, that's Orb and his son Luke, different crew.
Interesting bikes tho. One of Orbs frames one Best of Show at the City of Cycles last year. there's another show coming up just after Labour Weekend.

I think it's about time someone asked "what's the problem?"
We might be able to assist.

I went to ajust the primary chain and found i could move the whole clutch up and down, at a closer look i could seea crack in the trap door, so pulled the gearbox out and found lots of problems, got all the bits now apart from a bush, I was having problems with tight and loose spots in the shafts, I am having a lot of troble finding the info about the end floats and clearinces etc

Hmm, still not 100% on where you're at mechanically, I can't seem to draw a picture in my head from what you've posted, but would be happy to assist if I can. I know a few people with Iron Head Sporty experience. PM me and we'll see what we can do with phone calls. Let's get you rolling......

go onto ebay and buy a factory workshop manual (avoit haynes manuals like the plague)
read it carefully and follow the instructions, it is not that difficult

There was a Tim racing a Harley powered classic sidecar in the 06 Nationals and then a Modern outfit in 07 and he was a Harley mechanic (thought he had his own shop), if thats the guy I may have contact details through the sidecar association
