Oh, and dont hold the fact that one of these is used in a theme bike by OCC against it... its still really cool

The OCC Intel V-Quad Bike:
214 cubic inches
250 horse power
dual 45mm Mikuni carbs
225 lb. ft. of torque
4 1/8" bore and 4" stroke
TP Engineering crank case and rotating assembly
crank-triggered ignition
The prototype (160 cu. in.) gets 40 mpg!
-------
thats alot of cubic inches there,
interesting bit on there is galarry it as a one of there motors with twin turbo, that be insane
Hell put one of them on the road in NZ and find out how quickly it doesn't take a corner. would take alot of self control not to wind it out:Punk:

Only in america would taking an engine that's already a boat anchor, and then doubling the size of it, be considered a step forward

Jeesus H, what's stopping me putting one of these in my cage? Other then the fact it probably costs $20k+. Totally sick though, haven't been a fan of V-twins since a TL1000R blew my left eardrum out at Ruapuna ;@ - but this thing must sound totally mint!

That's 53kW per litre.
While you can't compare apples and oranges, I wonder what would top a listing of specific output/price?
The price would still need to be for a long block per litre.

160 cubes is close to 2400cc isnt it? I wonder if the rear cylinders get much hotter than the front?

So an american motor company finally figured out how to make a V-4...
Timber020, they more than likely do since I doubt they've bothered with making the smart move of liquid cooling it.

No they haven't. What they have done is put two V twins on a common crank, yes I know technically a V4 but not they same as a true V4 with two cylinder headds not four. Imagine how wide there IL4 would be!

With a 240 front, the thing hardly needs a sidestand! It must be an arse of a thing to corner.
