Well spanner night has just finished up - I've packed away the tools and was glad to see some new riders on their rides! They rocked on up, all keen and was getting into some technical stuff which flew over my head.

Still, got one of them sorted and will be looking forward to riding and talking with them more in the near future!

You know who you are! :msn-wink:

Should this thread have perhaps been started in the General Maintenance section? (As it pertains to spanner nights...)

Or even the Wannabe and Newbie Bikers sub-section of General Bike Ravings?

Got to watch those infractions mate! You'll be binned before you know it...

Well got to meet Carbacca on the short notice 250 ride today - pleasure to check out his hyobag and put a face to a nick.

I got my crack in first about how "Asians always have flip-face helmets" before Donor could utter his standing racist/bigoted/troll remarks! :devil2:

Turns out Carbacca was wearing his jungle camo draggin's in contrast to my molten red ones! :innocent: Talked about bling stuff like LED lights (which, once again made Donor's eyes roll )

Will be good to see who else will start to turn up to these tootl'n rides (shorter than a pootle but longer than a run to the dairy). Now... where's Maverick when you need him?

I'd have been out there with you lot today but for the lack of internet access last night and this morning thus missing the last minute change of date.

Still there's next weekend right
