a trip to the naki could be on the cards .. but no kitchen will be worked in .. & no choccy cake will be produced :nya: .. thats for special occasions :D

But our kitchens special the proverbial one lady owner, male only uses when cooking steak.

Some nice roads out of the way, mostly North naki,as you say around Awakino north, south really only one way in and out, basically Wanganui to Hawera, then choice of going coastal to N.P,then oneway mostly north till 8 mile junction, otherwise via Stratford forgotten highway to Taumaranui, pretty much screwed if roads are closed due to weather etc.

I looking at going for a tiki tour down there. Seriouosly considering giving the bike a run over the quarter.

Guys, guys, guys, you're sounding like them Ponsnobby people, with all this talk about coffee and cake,c'mon be human, people in the nice area of Palmyville shouldn't act like that, enjoy the fine city you have too, every time down there the bloody cafe cuba is busy, even weekdays damn.

Seriously though why not come up to Sth Taranaki for a weekend, couple of nice watering holes(with wine selection),good country roads, motels are cheap and the pubs have good beds, mountain even has snow on it,hadn't seen it for a while lol, thought it was sold and taken.Only 3 cops on main road from Hawera to Stratford going to work this morning, also have new stove so any budding female cooks can use it to make cake, mind you kitchen ,women place in home, ouch shit just got whacked over head by she who must be obeyed, damn.
Sound like a most interesting idea.

EKKA and the freestyle motorcross were fun but perhaps not that good I suspect.

Best watch all those cakes and days off work, slacker:sunny:

You won't get into the leathers for summer :dodge:

I will have to work out some exercises for you when I get back or the bum will be bigger than the ego:shutup:

I think it's whangamomonahotel.co.nz,if not try the information websites, left the paper at work, have one on the Wanganui river for jet boats and canoes, not very helpfull lol.The site gives other activities in area as well, mostly off road trips, horse treks, tramping.Used to do bit of tramping and attempting hunting in similar area around the main walkway to Wanganui river. Some good semi sealed roads albeit narrow to ride, steep bloody country, info centre has a couple of day trips from Stratford to various places of interest with the heritage type places.

Well another great ride today! Met up with Chanceyy, English, the Stranger and Stirts in Shannon and did our usual run through Aokoutere and Ashhurst to Manfeild catching up with Cowboyz and Yod. (next time Jodi and Ben eh).

Watched some bloody good racing before hitting the Halcombe road for a damn good warm up!

Up to Marton for gas, then past the resevoir and down into Turakina Valley Rd. Cowboyz demonstrated how it's done on gravel - nice one  This leg was excellent fun and takes one through some great country (and choccy cake - yum).

Then a spirited run into Hunterville before tackling Vinegar Hill. Just an amazing run through there today, then back to Ashhurst for coffee at Meanies - even though he wasn't there :gob:

Great day out guys.

Good to meet you Stranger and Stirts, and have a safe trip back :niceone:

I got home from work around twelve too good a day to sit round so thinking you guys were all at manfield for the day I shot round the block all on my own (im big enough to do that know) Over the track, filled up in Eketahuna on through Masterton and on to Rimutakas where the wind was blowing like 40 bastards as usual, it was nice and dry though Stopped at the top where two guys were mounting up ready to head the way i just came. I looked towards wellie and saw some pretty horrible cloud formations but what the hell were always riding in the rain. On through the hutt valley, Haywoods and then an awesome ride over Paekok hill Called into my nephews place at Paraparaumu for a much needed coffee break and to have a look at his bike I get a phone call from home to say everyone was at my place for coffees so on the bike i got for a quick sprint home to try to catch up with everyone. Saw a couple of bikes heading the other way and presumed it was chancey and co heading back to Shannon Awesome ride with wet roads and rain from around Otaki through to PN so i was stoked
Good to see you guys had a great ride I shoulda texted someone then caught up at manfield buy didnt
Hey its bloody amazing how far you can travel in a short time if you stay on the bike and not stop at every turn off for a chin wag  but not as much fun on your own
Hey Yod, how did the conversation go with that lovely young lady that enjoys the company of men with large wallets...............:gob: Sorry mate it was the alcohol that made us do it :innocent:
