Did you realise CBR600RR's are only 10'700 NZD in Japan? But they only put out 69ps/11'500rpm and 5.2kgm/7'500rpm I assume they are restricted and it can be removed?

They fit a 400 motor as standard?
You would be gutted if you bought one as a Jap import in a couple of years wouldnt you?
Wonder if its just a electrical restriction? new CDI, wiring loom, chip, knock the washers out of the exhaust, put on boat = $9000 + $10700 = $19700, hmmm bargain

Depends on how they are restricted. My fzr was restricted to 77BHP.

To derestrict it you do the following.

- Remove rubber bung in airbox inlet port.
- Change main jets in carb from 80.5/82 to 102.5/105 or 105/107.5
- Change pilot jets from 110's to 125's
- Change 2LM digital ignitor to 2LA or 2GH digital ignitor 10° advance per 1000rpm instead of 5° advance
- derestrict exhaust muffler either by drilling it out to make gases flow easier or change to aftermarket muffler or FZR1000 exhaust muffler

This gives you around 110BHP, which isn't bad for a 17 year old 750.
