Hail fellow bikers of all shapes, sizes and forms.

I heard from from a mate this was THE site to belong to, so here I am.

I joined up a little while back but got a bit intimidated trying to navigate my way round (a lot like my riding style confused and erratic).

I hope I'll get to know some of you in the future, as far as I'm concerned we all share a common passion for riding, so your all good in my book until proven otherwise.

I hope I don't offend anyone while I'm getting used to using this site...that is unless its banter then I suppose I'll look forward to that as well :crazy:

does this site come with a manual I tell ya I have no idea what a thread or a post is .......and what the heck is a blog!!! Sorry real newbie AYE

You can set up a space to have your own personal rant session/bike restoration log/whatever you want.

Hoodz....man you live in a Primo spot....have they sealed the Road down to Matauri Bay? Used to get me sick as a kid goin down that road...i hated it! My family had a number of camping trips there when I was knee high to the proverbial grasshopper!...this is going back to around 1976-1980....Always remember coming back in from fishing in a 12ft tinboat, and my bro panicked and threw in the anchor when we were comin thru the surf....bloody swamped the tinnie...Anyways gotta hand it to ya...a prime spot for sun, surf and RIDES!...Only one place better for campin and thats Matai Bay!

Yeah mate all the roads are sealed all down the bay and right around the coast now ....actually its quite a primo little section of road to ride now between matauri through to Kaeo heading round the coastline, (That is when the roads not blocked by slips and what not) quite challenging for a tourer like my bike (and maybe that fact that I ride like a Nana LOL) Yeah Matai Bay pretty wicked too but I gotta stick with my home break at Matauri.....Oh P.s You definately weren't alone swamping your tinnie I am local and I've done it too....Happy riding once ya get new bike.... hear christchurch is the bomb to ride, hope to get there in feb 08

Thanks for the clarification, Ive been reading some of the threads and post and there certainly seems to be some humourous stuff on this site (which is Cool).

Yeah I reckon about the hogs theres quite a few up round this way "I suppose what ever floats your boat" not my cup of tea but beautiful bikes if your into them.....Rode with some Hogs recently (yes me on my japper) Awesome ride around the top of the Island.
Started off they left me for dust (I think I was getting used to them, But by the end they were hard pressed to keep up :-) )

On topic though they are only yellow if your in the Dark Universe!!! They are white on blue (if you've seen the light!!) in the light universe. :D

What I've just gone on about is that you can view this site in two different colours. I think the default one now is black background where as you can change it to white if you want.

Have a look in the User CP (Control Panel (Top left second one in)) for all sorts of options.
