Those US spec 'Specials' were a damn good looking bike :love: - I always fancied one. There are people (I kid you not) that collect motorcycles still in their crates! Thats got to be a fairly frustrating hobby IMHO.... :no:

Anyway - Its a bit pointless me owning something like that - I'd just use it and ruin the value....

I know a certian dude who has a origanol 85 gsxr750 [the first] and a k5 aniversery gsxr750, both in their crates...never used...barely even looked at!! might be a few dollars in those two in years to come!

Nice bike...but to be honest, I never liked mags on that style, plus I think the engine build quality had slipped a bit by then.(parts bin slap togethers?)
Out of the crate, some had loose head bolts. (fri arvo specials:apint:)

Just last week I heard there is a 1975 Triumph(dont know what sort) tucked away in a shed in Pukehina....been there for many years, since her husband died. She wants 5k for it but the dude that has seen it wont tell anyone where it is.
