Cheers Corky
Christchurch, New Zealand
not too many in that state now days what a find. Wonder how much it was the day it was bought, selling for 22k nice little investment.
28 years ago huh?
Fuck I'm old.
You sure some of them weren't elephant leap years?
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
Those US spec 'Specials' were a damn good looking bike- I always fancied one. There are people (I kid you not) that collect motorcycles still in their crates! Thats got to be a fairly frustrating hobby IMHO....
Anyway - Its a bit pointless me owning something like that - I'd just use it and ruin the value....
Old schmold......remember you are only as old as the woman you feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..nice bike btw
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone
Nice bike...but to be honest, I never liked mags on that style, plus I think the engine build quality had slipped a bit by then.(parts bin slap togethers?)
Out of the crate, some had loose head bolts. (fri arvo specials)
Obviously got no oil in it yet as no puddle underneath.
It did a lot better than the town that buried a car see: http://buriedcar.com/ check links for the unveiling photo's.
should be called www.whenstoragegoeshorriblywrong.com
Bike looks awesome btw.
Just last week I heard there is a 1975 Triumph(dont know what sort) tucked away in a shed in Pukehina....been there for many years, since her husband died. She wants 5k for it but the dude that has seen it wont tell anyone where it is.
I know where there's an X75 Hurricane with about 19 miles on it.
Nyah nyah.........
