Hey just wondering what the reputation thing is for? the +/- button on each post. what does it count towards?
bert_is_evil

It counts towards the little green squares under your post count, but beware this should not be directly proportional to your self esteem!
Check out your "User CP" and you can see the comments people have made regarding your post. After you get to a certain post count you will be able to see who gave you the rep.

its a load of shit that doesnt do anything!
it doesnt count towards anything, you get nothing, its a complete waste of time, etc, etc.
now if you won a prize for the most recieved in a week or something like that then it could be usefull.
rep points dont mean shit!

What I will say is: Dont get caught into taking anything here too seriously, all have opinions... all are entitled to them, no matter how bazzaar some seem to be!

the only reason i ask that people sign the bling, is coz i cant see who it is while i am infractured.
however, the infraction and rep system here is the only one i have ever seen on an internet forum. it doesnt stop me doing what i want, ie;posting and reading threads.
so basically, if it wasnt there it wouldnt be missed, therefore a waste of time coz i dont do anything on here that i cant do on other forums.
including posting pictures, which apparantly i cannot do due to the infractions???

Yep, very shiny. What's that blue shit on the driveway? If it's a good "spray all over the bike and give it a rub then hose it off" bike cleaner that actually works, I'd be keen to know the name/cost etc. TIA.

that blue shit on the ground is the sun shining off the water, i had just washed them!
to clean them i used a bucket of hot water with "morning fresh, extra strength" and a strip of old towel, a toothbrush with same washing up liquid for the wheel rims etc and a hose to rinse them off.
cost about 10 cents lol
photo tip for extra gleam like i got, position yourself so the sun is reflecting straight into your eyes, like it does a light in the mirror at night. hope that helps

Oh. That's rather a let down. I was almost motivated enough to buy some of your magical blue cleaner tomorrow and wash my slightly neglected bike. Thanks anyway. :niceone:

*disclaimer; in england it is a typical bikers anti car! you ride a bike and own a volvo you WILL get the "piss" taken out of you unmercifully for ever! they *in the eighties* were involved in more motorcycle deaths than anyother car on the market!

Have a look at the FAQ (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/faq.php?faq=site_faq_item#faq_kb_site_rep_faq1). Answers (almost) every question you have about reputation.

well considering my blade had its 1st wash since ive had it just before the pic was taken, and i bought it end of june ish. it has been ridden in the pissing rain and all sorts, the bandit had only its third wash since i bought that mid may. i dont think it will matter all that much:p
bikes are for riding, not polishing! aye wash them occasionally, but ride them more!

Reputation - commonly called Bling. Bling is also the shiny bits on your bike. You now know how to clean them.
Any other questions, just ask...
