To be riding this morning. It's absolutely brilliant. Cold maybe, but there's no wind, rain, or clouds.

SH2 this morning was perfect. Only about 6 cars from Ngauranga to Petone. Just a shame I had to come to work.

What's work....? No traffic... sunshine... I need some stress relief I think... I wonder what Fergus has in store...? I should buy a new bike... have to make sure I like it... Hmmm better test a couple out to be sure... Martin's got Honda's... Pete's got Suzi's... I wonder if I can do the whole lot in a day..? I might try... kinda like a pub crawl... :done:

Sure was nice blasting the Guzzi down the motorway at 8.30ish. Traffic was light too as a bonus.

It is a beaut of a day.
No work today so I thought I would ride over the rimutakas for the first time.
Went over the featherston, turned around, came back over the hill. Got to temarua then turned around and went again. :)
Bloody good ride, very sore though

Too right, it's an awesome day.

I got to work at 7.30am (with slightly chilled fingers coz it was frosty) full of good intentions but...it was just too damn nice to be there.

I did a deal with my (very reasonable, flexible) boss to trade today for Sunday (which will likely be crap) and headed back out for some fun in the sun :scooter:

Minus 1 in the valley this morning, as evidenced by the ice on my windscreen.

So who's got a good excuse to get off work early ?

I might as well just be honest with the boss cause with the weather like this, and being a Friday afternoon, he is going to know - it's been done many times before :2thumbsup

Beautiful ride in this morning. Would've been perfect if it wasn't for our crazy friend on the GN, the dickhead on the Intruder blocking the ghost lane and the loser on the BMW who cut in front of me and then braked hard coz he was too scared to go through a gap you could drive a bus through. :oi-grr: The cagers were behaving themselves though, so I shouldn't whinge I spose.

takas is good fun, im still pretty slow going over it but at least I dont hold up most of the cars.

Damn cold this morning by Wellington standards, didnt see any sign of the talked about frost though.

Just keep yer eye out for fekin diesel spills eh? Bastards fill up on either side before the hill and slop half the fekin tank all over the place. Twice in the last month I've had a bit of diesel spill induced sphinctre excercise.
