Is there such a charge?

I work in Ponsonby... company "A" next door has a Union on strike outside "Toot for support"... and the bloody noise is driving me nuts.

I'm all for people improving their lots but maybe if the union members has a few more clues they'd work out they are free to look for other jobs any time at all.... even *gasp* while they have a job so there's $$$ security there for them.

Them wanting an extra $2.00/hour (or whatever the hell it is) is costing them money (on strike=no pay...) is costing me money (commissioned sales) and is costing the country money (I'm an exporter). So when I ring the cops (just down the road) and ask them to make these losses go away... what do I ask for?

Strike by all means - just do it fucken quietly.

Far more entertaining to call the council noise control office and the press...

No, cattle prods instead of battens... and there'd be a media frenzy too! You'd be doing the country a service - take their minds off 'other' things...

Nah mate...find the source of their water supply and turn it off...

Or buy some stink bombs, and pay a kid $5 to throw them in...

I'm sure your devious mind could find so many little things like that to make their life holy hell and give you a bit of comic relief along the way...:devil2:

Or you could go for lunch, eat all the Eggs Benedict and baked beans you can find, top that off with a nice curry, and then go out there and join them. If that doesn't make them leave nothing will!

Yeah, what he said. Take a dump on the footpath. That normally moves people on...

Re "toot for support"... I have a 4ft long ships fog horn around here somewhere. The label on the box says "class 1 hearing protection must be worn within 20 metres"

Want me to go support 'em some dude?

I can't stand the union at my workplace.

They go out of their way to look for things to bitch about. They ignore responsibility and blame the company that was good enough to hire them in the first place.

I swear most of those groups are just people who have a chip on their shoulder about something and want revenge.

Did stick a loco horn on the KLX, worked for about 2 seconds but it needed more air than you can carry.
