Damn close to license loss for a month, how many demerit points have you got as well, idea could be to ask for court hearing, will add the court costs to fine but if you say the noise made it sound faster lol,you then pay the fines weekly.Mind you put $60 week away and by the time the fine is due(27 jan)you will have the dosh.
yea id rarther just pay it and learn my lesson (get a radar) . had put away some $$ to buy some braided lines (brakes ,clutch, oil) so those will have to wait. ahwell eh

My mechanic used to say it's only money, not good one time when the C4 in the fairmont shat itself,$1450 later total rebuild and away, was about 20 yrs ago.
Mixed feelings about radar for bike, cost vs hassle mounting etc for the gsx, then spending $400 plus for one on the bike,as cars have one in each and cheaper types but work (just),mind you saved me three times, picked the radar about 1 km away but straightish road, not bad with bendy roads either lol.Surprising amount of marked and muftis without radars on,three times this week going to work passed cars without them on.

All fine here. Connie told me to stop falling for the girls:crybaby: What's one more Honda in the garage with dents ;)
VV glad that you are only a little bruised and battered and that the rear brakes working at that point otherwise we could have been too close for comfort
at least they made it home under their own steam .. rather than bags that ride on the concours
just seen results of the carterton sprints today .. hmm & if i am not mistaken it looks like a honda took out the fastest time on one of the classes
Thanx for reminding Cowboyz Honda's are OK, he did ride SK1PY around the block and only used a rubber mallet so we won't hold his comments against him.
there really is nothing quite like being in a thundering convoy of bikes (especially when 'making haste')
for sure , what a ride:ride: :sunny:
I believe the problem has just been solved! Bonez has just dropped off a caliper unit, looks like she'll fit!!! Bonez, you're magic mate - HUGE THANKS :2thumbsup:
Bonez you are a complete darlin' the calliper did fit and with some sandpaper and elbow grease Lee fixed SK1PY up so she stops right smartly now:yes: I may have to be a little 'gentler' with the right foot:yes:
HUGE thanks to Bonez, V8 and Cowboyz for practical help. Also to all on sunday for encouragement and support so I didn't lose my bottle about riding home slightly short on stopping power and for others who posted helpful suggestions and words of support.
SK1PY and I feel very loved:grouphug:

.
One great big happy family in the TUI district, pity more communities can't join in the spirit.Still annoyed I forgot to at least say anything to you at time, but noise went once the last saddle conquered, and you got past the car,I stayed behind it as I knew we were about 2 km from the town. Was sure it was my pads as two up thought they might be getting warm, with application all the time.:doh:Suppose though they hadn't dropped the bundle at that time, but hindsight is so blardy wonderful.

Too late on the photo front (remember Sarahs wobbly rear?) ;)
Glad the caliper did the job guys.
Just fitted a mirror and headlight to Gerble this evening (after the compulsery nanna nap) so she's all good to go as well.
