Yes, That is the number of bike related posts. Posts in Off Topic including R&R PD etc do not count. Only 695 of your 1083 posts are bike related.

Mine shows 173 odd post but if I search my posts on the forum then the real number is 267...

I have noticed that it seems quite random to what is counted and what is not at times...

Seems very strange to have a total post counter that is not actually a total post counter

Just click on your username and then click the line that says "find all posts by username. The posts will be listed with most recent one at the top and you'll see something like 1 - 10 of xyz posts.
