Hello Guys and Gals - fellow Newbies. Last week on the Big boys Toys I heard the news that a brand new NINJA 250R:drool::drool::drool: has been launched in the states and its coming our way. I looks nothing like the GPX. Its way more stylish and "angry" looking:2thumbsup. They say its completely new and awsum bike:clap:. I got a few clips of youtube :

I got all the specs from the official kawaka website. The price in US is about $3500US and that converted to $NZ comes around 4.5k but I think its gonna be about 7k the price. Anyone know exactly how much its gonna cost in NZ and exact date that its coming to NEW ZEALAND? I'm so keen on getting one of them:baby:... anyway this is like a news flash and also if anyone knows something more about that bike please share with us.

Be Safe

Yep, I was considering getting one. But it's not really my style - not a fan of twins (unless they're 2-stroke, Female, or a combination thereof).

There's some more info in these KiwiBiker threads if anyone's interested: <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=57844">1</a> - <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=58682">2</a> - <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=56538">3</a> - <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=57380">4</a>

Na, the RS250 just looks out dated now.
The RS125 on the other hand, if they put the 250 engine in it, phwooooar.

but yea Toto, the new Ninja 250 looks pretty cool, should be a great learner bike and compete with the Hyosung 250s nicely.
