I've just purchased this trailer (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Trailers/photos/a-132182566/p-56561415.htm), it's not galvanised and the tyre trays are gonna be too small for my 190 rear, never mind a 180.
What I'd like to know is, where can i get some galvinsed steel from... as i plan to remove the 3 rails, lay the sheet across the top of the trailor then replace the trays with wider ones.
churr......
i'm getting closer to getting serious about racing this thing...

Why not bolt a thick sheet of ply on, then the rails, or will that not work?

Get the whole trailer galvanised after you're done modding it. Just use mild steel for the mods.

find your local Sheetmetal place, they'll have what you want.

put mesh on for the "tray" unless you really want a solid base. Easier to walk on, lighter, can't act like a wing, etc.

MATE dont bother with the rails, just chuck some ply on it seriously or like Grem says some mesh--
