Is L053R taken?
Why do people bother with the l33t versions of plates?
Many is the time I'll say something like:
"H zero zero C H. What's that about?"
To which the plate's owner will say "It says hooch".
To which I say "The person who bought the real HOOCH plate has a plate that says hooch. Yours doesn't".
Fools and their money, I guess...

There's a guy down the road with a "Pimp mobile" that has the plate "LADIES" on it........ lol, what a dick!!!
We have "PHL0YD" on our car with pink trim, we did think about getting KENDOG for Nige and me MRS KD or MY CB and when Nige had a Hornet
HIS CB and HER CB, but they are really expensive and there's other bling I'd rather have first.

Out of curiosity I took a look at the plates site.
Apart from the 5 character limit they don't say much about motorcycle plates... the order form and "design your plate" pages don't have (for example) an "I need a motorcycle-sized plate") check-box.
Anyone here ever bought a plate for their bike? What's the deal?
(Costs the same as ordering a belly-pan and hugger from Ermax, so not first on my shopping list...)

were only allowed upto five digits on bike plates six on cars, i have REBBL on my chev van and REBL on my fatboy, problem with bike plates there made the same size as car plates and you have to either cut them down or make your own and thats what i had to do for my custom sidemount on the clutch houseing.

you dont obviously have to have 5 or 6 letters for a car or bike
must be able to have less as well just not more
Ive seen cars with only 3 and 4 letters on them
nothing else with them
And i dont see why anyone would want to throw away about $500 on a plate just to have it personalised
Its just a rego tag
Like mag wheels on a car ...when you drive you dont even get to see them

Probably because it doesn't fit on a bike plate mate. I looked at that a while back but thought it would look gay on the car.

Plates aren't legal unless they are made by the official authorised plate makers.

Just remember cutting down a plate is illegal and although you probally wont get pulled up for it own its own (unless the cop is having a real bad day) however I do know a number of people that have had a $200 fine for it thrown in as part of a package deal.
Im pretty sure bike plates are smaller than car plates any way? arnt they?
