We had a $5 secret santa and fuck me silly but my cousin just won $100,000 as far as i can see. Fuck i wish i had got that instead of a gay looking wine bottle sealer :weep:

I give them and am wrapped if people win off them. The larger the win the better. It's all about karma. What goes around comes around.

My Mum won 10k once to.

I dont think she ever touched a scratchie after that.

The odds of winning that much on a scratchie are rediculously low.

The odds of winning lotto are also rediculously low. I should know, I sold the stuff for 2 years and never sold one big prize. Few Div 2's though.

I went into the Opononi Lotto shop once to collect the $2 I'd won on a scratchy but mainly to chat to the cute girl behind the counter(yes I was single at the time).
She insisted that she checked my Lotto ticket as well whilst in there as someone had won second division that had purchased from that shop, so I went back out to my truck and showed her.
Yep...I won...I was happy...she jumped up and down  :drool:
Was just under $8000 but hey, better than nothing and you can't forget the $2 from the scratchy too!
Needless to say I had a hell of a 3 day party;)

I won $100 on a scratchie once but I have certainly spent more than that on them over the years! Won $54 on Lotto too, got three and the bonus and four numbers on one ticket - $19 for one line and $35 for the other. Best I've done unfortunately, but you have to be in to win!

Best I have done with scratchees is $100....best with lotto is $500....they are both bottomless pits to chuck your money into...but still the dream persists!

The very first day they went on sale my Mother bought one.

I visited the following weekend and saw the ticket; told her she'd won $1,000.

She said "no, the three numbers have to be on the same line". (There were two rows of three numbers, with 2 x $1,000 symbols in top row and 1 in bottom row.)

I said "you should check that" and left.

Next weekend I found out she'd thrown it away.

Cheers,

(I always get $2 or $3 from a $5 ticket.)

If karma was real I should've had something huge happen by now... though the girlfriend is evening things up a bit

Thats what they tell you on the lotto sales course.

Your not selling a lotto ticket or a scratchie, your selling a Dream

How much for the dream where Liz Hurley comes and spends the night with me? I know she's a bit older than my tender 22 years but she is still fine!
