Yes, I'm copying Mr Poo's :bleh:
But after reading a few pages of his thread in the racing forum it got me wondering... How many chicks on KB are thinking about getting into racing this year? Are any chicks out there thinking about it but maybe not sure if it'd be a daunting "testosterone fueled sport" or maybe just something you dream of but don't actually put into action or any other reasons?
In my short experience last year, it's one of the best things I've done in my (short) life:banana: the guys and gals there are AWESOME people. Sure there are mostly more guys then chicks and yes, it, like any other sport, can be very competitive lol... but you can just go out there and have fun as well
Every one at the track (and off the track) have been so supportive and the 3 times I've binned I've had at least a few sometimes even around seven people there helping me to try get my bike back on the track before the next race. Some times even giving up part of their lunch breaks :eek5:
So to any biker angels out there thinking about it... I'd definitely suggest trying track days to see what you think and if you enjoy them and feel you can do it.. Take the plunge and get into racing :niceone:
Oh and I'd highly recommend the street stock class... It's the bestest class out there
