Got my learners and a CBR125R, just thought i'd ask for more experienced riders opinions on this bike. i don't really need a 250 as i will mainly use the bike as a commuter. also thought that 5195 was a fair price for a brand new bike. what do you think?

Mint bike! Post a review once you've got more k's on it eh cos i've always wondered what they were like. :2thumbsup Good on ya mate, as long as you ride aye. A gpx for 6 grand would be another option too.

Edit: Any chance you can post some pics?

I want to get one of these, for commuting only. Then I can turn the CBR into a race bike :D and ride it like I stole it.

Seems like a nice bike this - with that fuel injection and all that other fancy jazz.

why don't you just get a gpx amit, no need to go to a 125cc for commuting, the gpx is only a little bit more so a 2006/2005 will be within reach.

Because the GPX is ugly as shit, and for commuting you don't need a 250, it needs to go 50, and maybe 100 every now and then, not for joyriding, thats what the CBR is for.

Also, I want fuel injection

haha no kidding, i have a few navy mates who ride bikes...you a officer? At uni or something or going for sole navy training? Haha the amount of times they missed parties due to duty...plus your bar closed down..no more cheap shots. You still have the pool table and the big mofo screen though.

Nice bike, my sister got one. Managed to pry it off her hands for a bit. I did found the breaks and suspension a bit iffy, especially during breaking and down shifting (but that was at "speed" hehe, couldn't handle the 10hp). Other than that, really nice bike and a pleasure to ride:) Have fun!

You should sell the RG and get one. I mean get a Honda CBR125. Less problem than a 2 stroke bro....:scooter:

I was going to ask why anyone would buy a $5200 bike with a highly tuned, liquid cooled, fuel-injected 125 cc engine pumping out (what?) 12 kW, when they could buy a $3800 bike with an agricultural, air-cooled, carburetted 223 cc engine pumping out 14 kW. But you've answered my question nicely.

Yeah the fuel injection is impressive.

Apparently it was released carbeurated but it didnt meet those gay emmision standards.

Haha a) i wouldn't get much for my rg and 2) if i did sellit i would want a 250cc four stroke. I rode the fxr, i found humping the tank when at speed got it to go a bit faster *jokes*. But yeah i would get nothing for my rg lol
