So out on the new CR250 last night (first proper ride on it) at kimmy's park MX track, last lap of the day hit the double in wrong gear and band kicked nose up too high so i exited the jump mid-air....:jerry:
Hit the ground pretty hard:rolleyes:
Ligament damage to both knees (can't walk at all), broken ankle and big toe is stuffed up big time:baby:
Now know how nasty a 250 stroker can be haha but I still love it:banana: Just gonna have to slowly learn how to ride it compared to the CRF

Sorry to hear.
Knee braces keep the leg from hyper-extending. They don't work to well when a leg is twisted.

I got a flywheel weight I can sell you. Its a Tjebbie Bruin one and you have to mod your case very slightly, but will tame it down and give you more power. all yours for $100. Cost me $120. They fit straight on the the 01 CR.

vr4king: God mate I bet that ripped your undies (seems bad luck can get worse in a matter of sec's huh) Sorry to hear that brother
HAh thanks telliman (i'd be sour too if I rode Kawasiki, haha jokes mate) ;-)
Hey cheese I'd be keen on a flywheel weight but not one that needs modifying (I wouldn't think I would have the means- toolwise anyway)
IT sounds like the step-up there caused a bit of greif in it'stime... Camo did his injury there christmas eve, another fulla broke his leg there boxing day when I was out and Teava too. God I know i've bailed hard on it twice in my time out there

hmmm... yea I reckon its not got enough of a jump there. You gotta go quite fast then the instant you land you gotta be on the anchors to take the corner or else eat dust. Just a bit of a lip would be nice so you land with not soo much speed.
oh well

I did my ankle on the drop off in 04 on my YZF250. Jumped too far landed real hard. Didn't fall off but shattered my ankle upon landing. Hurt too. Rode back to the car park and got my mate to drive me to pukekohe A&E as that was closer to home :) from there it was off to hospital for 9 days and 2 operations. then 3 1/2 months of rehab. Still cant walk right. But have started trail riding again and can kickstart my KDX fine.
