Hi, was looking at the new shape GSX (R) Under, so '05-08ish, bike is a '87 but didnt want the chunky GSXR750 for the rear side fearings, so late '90s type would be good (Not to large or too small)

Any chance you can do a full set of Katana stickers? They wanted 500+ for a few stickers for my bike and it so desperatly needs a paint :(
Any help would be much appreciated.

Another option is the adaptation of the seatpod decals from an '86 slabby...

Jim...I think he means a teapot-type Katana?? Haven't done one of those. But how hard could it be, once I know the details...

Find a computer cut out shop they will make them 4 u, I know there is one in Thames, Tell them what you want and bingo....A lot of commercial vehicles are dressed up in them..Had my boats name done in Hamilton, peel of the backing and place in position....Way cheaper than what you have been quoted.
You would think Suzuki would be only to happy to have their stickers on every thing that moves for pormo purposes..:2thumbsup

I just bought some decals for my Triumph (currently being repainted) off E-Bay (USA). Dirt cheap, good quality and were here within 5 days. Worth a look.

No No. Definatly not a teapot.
A genuine 87 GS750SF "popup" Katana.

Kanji is a Japanese lettering system.
This is Suzuki's Katana Kanji:

In the photo on that other thread, your bike has 'katana' on the rear pod...I haven't done one of those so would need a nice straight-on photo. And is there stripes anywhere, or is it just a trick of the light? Otherwise see below for what I have done before

Yea there are odd stripes all over the place unfortunatly.
As for the rear pod, I dont have camera so it might take awhile.
I'll see if someone has a camera tomorrow night at the CWNR.
If not I'll get back to you when I can get a camera. Do you need measurements of the original decal to go from?

I suggest you don't replace the stripes. They look much nicer without, anyway. And yes, I will need the length and height of the required word.

ooo oooo oooo...wots the chances of getting some ZXR decals? for a 89 zxr400. don't like the ninja stickers on the tail (since removed and binned them).

ZXR too, huh? Tell me what you want, at least a hint as to what so I can search the net...
As for stripes, I don't know. They tend to be complex on bikes (tapered, fade out, double lines, weird curves/kinks, etc) so unless the actual bike is in front of me, I'd say stripes are out.

all I am after is the two ZXR decals from the tank....and the two kawasaki decals that run up the main fairings. I'll attempt to get pic's but all the pic's I take seem to be too big to attach and im a numpty when it comes to that stuff. Will seach the net and see what I come up with.

Each job priced on it's own merits. I've had a bit of a search for your model, but can't find any decent images...can you supply a good piccy of what you want?

Here are a few I've found, let me know which you could do! I'd love the first wings, and on the second picture I like the big font HONDA and CBR and the RR going low to high, the last picture I just like the CBR part.

Ok, you will find plenty of factory nice emblems to copy, but no.....
express yourself with graphics.
xsessive
thats the spelling, now what can you do with that to match a candy apple black paint job.
A splash for the tank, a slash for the side covers. Even a little note for the tail!
I am not an artist, but are open to ideas.
Show me what you can inmagine, and I will give my honest opinion.
30 year old bike, 50year old rider that thinks he is still 25! Paint and panel via my own clever son being done this winter, so time is not a problem

Aw shucks fellas....
RR - I can do all of those except for the RR, which I can't do the light/dark effect - can do say, silver or light charcoal on white.
Subike - Perhaps you need some small accents taken from a car graphic kit (these are high-quality printed decals from the States)? Along with some lettering?

Um the honda wings about 6 x 5 inches each. The CBR and RR could be about 9 inches long, not sure of height but just kept to scale? And of course I'd only need one wing each and two each of the others...
