This is a review of QUASiMOTO in general.

GOOD BUGGERS.
I bought stuff. It was well priced and arrived promptly, whereupon I found that it was of very good quality too.
I bought other stuff. Same as above, except a few months later problems developed. Problems were rapidly sorted, the only delays being ME.
I will buy more stuff.
Thanks Bret and Paula.

By the way, I never emailed you guys back to say the boots rock. Really comfy and they're built like a brick shithouse.
A question -- will a little bit of engine oil harm the leather? Just a slight leak from the rocker guide pins, left boot gets a spot or two of oil on it after a long ride.

nah no problems, but give them a lick of boot nugget from time to time okay, they will last alot better for you.

After my recent effort at tarmac surfing I can highly recommend Qausi's gear. Only gravel rash was on two knuckles due to crappy thin summer gloves. Jacket is repairable and should last a while more. Bought at a damn good price too.

Heh, so from that statistic we can conclude that Quaismoto gear causes crashes :chase:
Just kidding, from what I have seen the gear is great, and I would love some myself - When are you heading down to WGTN next?

I will buy more stuff.
I made a special trip to Quasi in Hamilton to try stuff on. Found proprietors to be very friendly and helpful and stuff
I'm now waiting on my stuff. Delay caused by me being a midget and having to cut a new size. Impressed that there was an option to have a new size cut. And short timeframe.
While there I tried on some more stuff. Their stuff looked and felt good quality. Tried on some gloves and was impressed with quality and small sizing.
Will also buy more stuff.
Looking forward to leather

... me being a midget...
That's true, she is! :dodge: But very cute with it!
I've spoken to other people who've been very impressed with your gear Mr Quasi. So I'm saving up for some of the fine cowhide you got...:niceone:

Yup, Quasi gear crashes well, I can attest to that.
:niceone:
The only issue I've noticed is a tendency for the pocket zippers in the jackets and pants to twist and break over time - I'm not sure whether newer models have different zips that eliminate this weakness, or maybe I'm just hamfisted?
I know that Bret and Paula are happy to repair any failed fasteners on their gear at their own cost, though, so I wouldn't get too bothered about that if I were a new customer.

While I don't know all the circumstances of Bret and Paula starting up QUASiMOTO, I do think that you guys have hit a unique market niche. I know, I run a business too - you can't just have the cheapest stuff or the best stuff, it has to be a whole package encompassing customer service, friendliness, price, quality, etc. There are so many online shops that refuse to let you go look at stuff in real life, or bricks and mortar shops that have shit service and support but rock bottom prices, or places that are all smiles until you have to return something.........and so on. QUASiMOTO has (in my experience, to date) hit the jackpot of all the factors necessary to ....well, to make a few people randomly blab on the internet about their positive experiences.
The people who are selling and supporting the products are doing so with an obvious passion.
Disclaimer - i am not receiving a commission from quasi! :eek5: I'm just one of those annoying buggers who likes to tell everyone when i have a shithouse experience with a company, but just as equally I like to pass on positive experiences.

I hope i dont have to test its crash ability of Quasi gear, but after my last crash (my first crash on a motorbike) im not going to pull any shortcuts on gear quality ,i do like the look of that new quasi racer 9 gear range  might have to go for a ride and try ome on as im such a lanky bugger that their is always something wrong with my leather gear -2 long /2 short etc

lol yah ZIPs, if something is a problem its the zips, we spec YKK, the best but somehow on occasion they cause a problem, we think the Zips in the 08 range is better but we are looking at another style at the moment also.
we will repair them however if a problem occurs, which is infrequent

Well, the jacket I bought a year ago (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=46245&highlight=quasi+jacket) managed to survive daily commuting use in the pouring rain and thus far, is still waterproof.
My expensive Fieldsheer pants sitll leak, even after the nikwash and waterproof treatment (which cost a fair bit of a pair of pants). Must get some Quasi cordura trou.

Got some QM gloves for the winter - great, love them. They are waterproof, warm and unlike other winter glovess I have used - I can still actually do things with my hands other than them being open and flat!!

Pants are Luuuuvvverly!
Only complaint is the fact that this thread lacks pictures of scantily clad babes, displaying Quasi gear and lots of flesh...:oi-grr:

Yeah I really feel like trying winter gear at the moment with the roads so slippery from tar melt.........

Well I've just begun to wearin my new Racer9 pant & Rapid red Jacked and all I can say is WOW!
The pre curved arms & legs are very comfortable, the fit is excellent and the quality is superb.
I almost want to crash just to scratch the gear up a bit to make me look tough as I know the gear will take it and more, while keeping my flesh unharmed!
Top stuff, Paula & Bret.

Chalk up one for me too.
Was utterly stoked with the new gear, and how it performed.
Unfortunately, I tested it a little rigorously than I had intended, only two days after I bought it. Survived without a scratch where I had Quasi gear on.
Only my hand that got nailed due to the 'light' summer gloves. D'oh! Perhaps I need to head back to the 'tron and spend some more money on gloves...
