Imagine a lounge roof that has decided it would prefer to be a floor, plaster and dust through most of the house, lounge furniture blocking one bedroom and most of the hall as well as the deck.
Then imagine you have to have it finished by a set day and the tradesman announces at the last posible moment that your sagging ceiling will have to stay as it is and the hole from the old chimney he has filled withplaster because it is too hard to put a new piece of jib in.

At this point someone mentions The Stranger knows a bit about ceilings. So after a phone call to describe the problems his responce was

"Leave it to me. Will come over with my boy tomorrow and we will get it done for you":2thumbsup

Frosty now has a ceiling in his lounge that doesn't look like it will drop on his head any second, the ventilation hole is gone, and the room has a fresh coat of paint. No wall paper from the seventies anymore.

Will try to put some pics up later on.

The Stranger what can I say. You truely are MY HERO!!!!!!!

Hes my hero too, that day I was too drunk to wipe my own ass, there was "the stranger" swooping in to save the day

Who was that masked man? And will we ever get to see his face?
You are a true champion, Noel.

Maybe it was The Stranger that fixed our lounge ceiling on Saturday too! Some strange man was on our roof, in the hot, hot sun, fixing up the chimney hole with new sarking, replacing the purlins, and then putting all the tiles back where they belonged. :niceone:
And all it cost was two Coronas and a La Trappe ale!

I am rather flattered that your fantasies involve me Brian and I am pleased to see you now feel confident enough to share them with us all.
From the looks of this one though, you still need a LOT more therapy. Keep up the good work.
