wihoo you dudes! - i can't wait to get this one off the ground - having a few beastie bikes turning up is my favourite thing EVER...wouldn't do to let the art-world get too gentile now would it... :devil2: It's quite cool actually -one of the staff at the auckland city gallery used to own a 996, but now rides a repsol... at least there are a few more bikie art-types :)

I dunno; I thought my grunts of pleasure sounded pretty heterosexual right before you swallowed the other night.
Nice tongue-on-perineum technique, by the way. You'll go far.

A BIG BIKER PRESENCE! BUELL WILL BE THE BUSINESS!! Actually the curator of the show rides, her brother used to race... yes just park up on the footpath - there'll be alot of strafing art goers and you will have a little audience because they can't smoke in the gallery so they spill outside onto the street...how handy... ;)

Is that the one that's manned by a bunch of Asians?
I use to go there in the early mornings for a pie, usually after a gig, until they mysteriously closed down.
My mates use to give me shit for eating there because it apparently has a 'C' hygiene rating. I never bothered to look and plus, I never got sick!

yeah - when I was a broke art student I used to get a bun from there and an orange juice every day for lunch - cost about 1.70 all up! same thing friends totally razzed about the low hygine rating - but they had that cool flourescent sign in orange and blue:love:

wihoo ... a few hours to go :scooter:
the footpath is pretty (very) wide in front of it and the post office shuts at five so probably just angle park in a row out front there

HY BAKERY FTW!
Never met a person who got sick eating there but they did eventually sink to an all time low of an E food rating at one point.
Not really a suprise to see a bunch of dodgy bikers admit they hung out on dodgy K-Rd is it ;)
Bloody cool exhibit. The massive screen and the v-twin roar pumping out was quite hypnotic. Makes watching youtube vids of tracks days seem so lame in comparison. Wish I could ride like that. Better get to some trackdays and hone the skills.

Clever with the split across the 2 walls. Well done.
I found myself leaning and almost falling onto discotex at one point (nope no booze and don't fancy him either)

T'was a good exhibit! I got to learn the route and see just what the course is, since I've never been on a track day yet!
Was a ton of peeps in the main foyer when I left just after Discotex and Paturoa! And the fancy sparkling mineral water was a bit ... meh meh, next time drink the plain cooler water!
Thanks for the invite Surfchick! I likey these arty-farty things, got to keep my English teacher credentials up! :dodge::whistle:

Hi Surfchick,
Thanks for the invite. A very cool idea. It was very funny watching the number of people who were leaning or head tilting with the video, especially those concentrating on the backwards feed. (bikers included)
It was a great advert and introduction to the non bikers, who would probably never bother to watch any bike racing. Comments overheard ranged from amazement at the lean angles achievable:eek5:, to how easy you made it look. The sound was pretty awesome too!
:clap::clap::clap:

yeah the CCTV cams kind of look video-gamey... By monday the gallery should have addressed most of the techie stuff and its sync should be well locked off - it looks cool when it runs well.

- poohs I tried to find all the bikies (not hard to spot w. helmet and leathers ;) when you rolled in -gutted i missed you- I had heaps of epople say they liked watching you all park!! after 5mins the gallery sorted the glitch - that might be why i missed you as i went out back to get a replacement DVD player... the roof was about 40 degrees... cheers for coming out tho x

nothing gives me more pleasure than the sound of the duc in the gallery :)
the old lean angles are easy on the 996 as the footpegs are really high... that and the tires i had on which are so sticky they are practically tacky without even riding at the mo! thanks for coming in -will def pm you re the cams
