FZ750 engine parts for sale

FZ750 Genesis engine complete except for transmission shafts & gears (they have gone into the FZR1000)
To get the transmission out the entire engine has to be stripped so currently in dismantled state. We bought the engine only so no accessories (carbs, exhaust, etc) but what is there appears to be in good condition.

It soooo close - picked up the new piston on Thursday ($145, 13 days ex Japan) so the block and head is on, cams installed (timing is a bit fiddly but the dots line up ok)
Need to make a way of turning the crank forward - theres a threaded hole in the left end of the the crank but screwing a bolt in there and using it to turn the crank means you can only rotate it backward (turn it forwards and of course the bolt unscrews) - the manual shows a special tool that locates into a small hole in the crank and then bolts on, and this tool is used to turn the crank forward. Will make one of those.

Apart from that pretty straight forward motor - though complex compared to the GS Suzukis. eg 40 (!) bolts holding the cam bearing caps.

got some useful information from the Exup Brotherhood forum - the six speed swap is fairly common so it's nice to know I'm not breaking new ground.

Hope to have it back into the frame and running next weekend
