KTM 525sx super motard. track racing bike, i bought this with the intention of road reg'n but seems to be too expencive. is possible but too expencive.
has a KTM 580 cc stroker kit, crank con rod and piston. i believe it has also had an over bore to suit piston. was fitted with this kit wen it was rebuilt 8 hours ago. has had a service since then with the 2 genuine ktm filters and fully synthetic race oil. runs very high compression and is extremely fast. the torque is unreal. much faster than many sports bikes through corners. has RAD RIMS motard wheels, 17 inch rear and 16 inch front. fitted with full race slicks which have been grooved. also has a spare brand new front slick. very large white power front triple clamps, look much bigger than the factory 525 sx item. also has a very large rear shock which is shorter than the factory 525 sx shock to bring the arse down for motard racing. has a full acropovic? exhaust system and muffler. sounds wicked, kinda loud though. comes with a full carb tuning kit, im not sure if its the factory carb but i doubt it. very large side mounted air filter with fairing vent. large aftermarket front brakes with floating disk. slipper clutch imported from the states and installed. still have the factory clutch as a spare. sorry i have no reciepts.
this bike has only done 8 hours on the 580cc stroker kit and is ready for the track. if i had appropriate gear id take it to the track myself. perfect track bike for an experienced rider who wants to try their hand at super motard.
