Oh, you mean the prestigeous nationals??
Where there are less spectators than a club meeting, less competitors than the Taupo Road Race Spectacular, less trophies than the Taupo Road Race Spectacular, no prizemoney, and no TV coverage of the 'other' classes!!
Is it on next weekend??? :bleh: F@rk.... wouldn't wanna miss that...........

That almost came across as sounding a little bitter:pinch::msn-wink:

I was a little surprised as a spectator at Manfeild at the smallish crowd.
One food vendor for everyone too,and only one vendor stall(Plugz4lugz).
I was expecting something more like Wanga's.
The racing was great, but left feeling a little underwhelmed, can only walk the pits in between races so many times.Lucky I did'nt want a coffee:bleh:

I can see why non bike interested ppl aren't drawn to watch, maybe things might change once I start racing

Geez Kick, Scrivy'll be barring up after an offer like that :buggerd:..... Ooh hey if Scrivy's going, surely Sidecar Bob'll be there! His race fitness is very important, suppose I'd better stroll along too, look what happened last time I didn't work hard enough on the poor boy ...:third:...:msn-wink:

Smallish crowd?? are you new to this? 3 years ago there was just the competitors & their groupies & that was about it.
Puke 2 years ago there was a delay & sidecars were last on the programme, We raced our hearts out for a "crowd" of about 50 spectators, 'Twas a great day for NZ road racing!!!
I like you word "underwhelmed" it pretty well sums up the nationals these days.

I went as a spectator to the manfield round, I was well impressed with the commentator interviewing the previous class race winner as to what he had for breakfast that morning right through the start and 1st laps of both superbike races, I mean it is not like there was much to talk about with more dicing in those 1st laps than a ginsu knife infomercial eh.
