After my fun with Suzuki NZ I decided to order the sissybar and luggage rack from cruisercustomizing.com.

The main reason for this was price. Suzuki NZ were $935 whilst I could bring in a Cobra unit off the site (which having looked at pics of both I believe to be of a higher quality) for $511 (NZD) landed and delivered to my door faster than Suzuki could get it into the shop (about 7 days).

That's a $427 saving !!!!

So how was the service - Excellent!

When the order was complete I received an email with all the details and contact numbers, as well as a link to a webpage that gives you accurate shipping info. (and it was accurate - all goods shipped the same day they said they would).

I noted an anomaly with my address - so I called their 27 x 7 customer help line. I was on hold for all of 1 - 2 minutes before I spoke with a real person who solved the problem (a misunderstanding only) right there and then.

The goods arrived today. The box was in a large bag (to protect the box????), and the bar and rack were packed inside the boxes so that there was no chance of anything scratching.

Quality was 100% - no in transit damage, all the bits were there including all nuts, bolts, instructions as well as a "if you need to return stuff" form.

I will fit it this evening (after cleaning the bike) and take some pics and comment on the quality and fit of the Cobra items in a separate thread in the reviews section.

But as for dealing with CC.com - I'd give them a 10/10 - It has been painless, saved me a ton of $$$$, and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Ive also ordered this bag (http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?model_ID=0&Category_ID=0&manufacturer_ID=54&product_ID=6390&sblid_name=T_Bags_Universal_Expandable__) I will review when that arrives also.

I have also bought a few things off them and had excellent service. Stuff I could not get in NZ. A friend ordered a clock which had some peeling chrome when it arrived. She emailed them, they sent a new one and said "keep the old one and sorry for your troubles".

I to have bought stuff from them on about four occasions and have been generally happy with the service, a couple of minor dissapointments but that was manufacture's fault not theirs, and as far as price goes, NZ is way to expensive to buy bike parts from

I ordered my pipes from:

http://www.westendmotorsports.com/

They gave similar excellent service that Tank described. I have not complaints at all. Top marks to them too. Cruisercustomizing is also a good site and I am likely to buy from them as well.
