Hey guys, after purchasing a 400 it is now time to let the GPZ go :crybaby:

Went for a warrant the other day and failed on a couple of tiny things which have been fixed and I'll be going back later today for my sticker and it will have a couple months rego left.

*Update* Just obtained brand new warrant

It's on 82,000 kms and still going strong, I can't see any signs of it wanting to stop.

Problems:
The seat has a couple tears in it
Although the WOF inspector didn't pick up on it I think the rear wheel bearings need doing (not a biggy and I can have them done before sale for the right money and would do cush drive bearings at the same time).

It's a great little bike, really easy to ride and still has some balls to pull when you want it to.

Not really sure what it's worth, idea was to put it on Trade Me at 2000 odd and get offers but I'll offer it to Kiwi Bikers first at 1500 or offers if I'm dreaming a bit (can ya blame me, we've had good times!)

Cheers

Oh btw, 0274285176 or 04-2331192 or just PM me

Hi Red...

Tell me more.. does it smoke? whats the engine like? How quickly do you want the cash? any other major considerations?

My partner and I Just finished rebuilding a second GPZ 250 and took it for pre vin inspection and I need to spend more money (which i incidently dont have..) eg brakes, forks and steering head and possibly bottom end but no one is too sure about that...

Oh and just out of curiosity does your horn beep repeated when you do a sharp left hand turn??

Smoke? Nope sweet nothing.
Engine? Seems pretty bloody good, I havent had any problems and neither did the previous owner, haven't heard a bad thing said about it yet.
Speed of cash? Ideally pretty quick, have debts to pay and what not but I'm sure we can work something out....
Other major considerations? Not that I can see....

I bought it coming from dirt bikes into road bikes and have loved every minute of riding it, still enjoy taking it for a spin. As with cars dirtbikes etc I felt the need for speed so bought a 400 and can't afford to keep both.

Shit thats no good about your bike.... how have you found the revinning process? I know with cars it's no fun!

And nope no beeping horn when turning.... does yours or do both of yours?
