MC19 fairings on a MC17??

Hello all how's it going.

As the title states does anybody know if MC19 fairings will fit on a MC17?

I ask this as i have a MC17 and the fairings are well... just not their since i bought it last year and i am having a real hard time finding fairings for it.

It would seem that they both have a very similar frame if not identical so looks like it may work (plus the twin head lights look heaps better i reckon).

So if anyone has heard of this or know of anyone that has tried this that would be awsome or if anybody knows of and MC17 fairing in the country

I'm no expert, but this looks like an MC17 (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?bikead=yes&p=1508846) with an MCsomething Bikini fairing on it. Could be worth a PM to gtr boy (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=13521).

as far as i am aware they should fit. I know the mc22 dont fit on the mc19. but 19 to 17 shouldnt be a problem. i'll check my manual and see if they have the same frame etc

hmmm its tough one to pick.

the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CBR250 says it was only a minor brake upgrade.

but looking at photos you can see a bit of cosmetic changes, so i'd say at a guess it wont fit, maybe it would fit if you do some drilling, at best it will bolt straight on, but i doubt it.

Yeh that is definately a MC17 you can see from the rear fairings, sent GTR boy a PM

Cheers yeh they look very similiar but they must fit some how as GTR Boy's bike fitted them on sweet
